Congratulations on your purchase....I saw your other post and I was wondering if you can give me a break down of the costs...ie how much was the sunroof...total before and after taxes

Calgary here, ordered black S/C about three weeks ago.

 

Right now all I can remember is that the total was $27,125 with sunroof. I think the sunroof was about $1000-$1200. If I find the sheet I'll give you more details after.

 

In school in Edmonton....

During the summers sell at a GM Dealership in Houston, British Columbia.

Graduate this spring and hope to get a Cobalt SS ASAP.

I think the sunroof was $995 IIRC.

 

I am looking to buy one in april may cause I want to miss winter in winnipeg and I am sick of my Z34 lumina breaking down.

 

Looking to trade in my 2003 Sunfire GT (leased) and buy a Cobalt SS Supercharged sometime between the spring and fall. Depends on when the best deal comes along. I'm not going to rush it and get hosed. Would like to get it out to the track before next winter for some base numbers. Thinking white with a sunroof, and red leather (if I can find one).

 

i am thinking blue or black and getting the factory LSD and recaro seats with a sunroof also. I want to hit gimli too

 

T.O. in da house waiting for the 2006 cobalt ss supercharged so they can use you anxious people as the guniea pigs. i cant wait to see what aftermarket parts RSM racing is going to produce for the cobalt.

howdy all!

Ive been monitoring the board awhile now, thought i would finally sign up as i had a few questions but they've been answered!

Looks like alot of calgarians!

I'm from Calgary as well. It's looks like there may be enough of a following in Calgary that a club may be order. I can image some of you have some previous modding experience unlike myself.

Does anyone know of any local aftermarket distributors in the city that may carry Cobalt parts soon? When I get mine ordered (I'm not even bothering until my dealer has heard what the official options are) i'm thinking that I would like to make these mods immediately:

1. Tint it.
2. Replace factory hood with aftermarket hood with function ram-air scoop (perhaps RK sport)
3. Replace factory bumper with aftermarket bumper with dual-exhaust openings
4. Cat-bak exhaust (Not sure if required)... at least install dual-exhaust for visual-appeal

Any other mods will have to wait until I see what Stage offerings you can get from the dealer so as not to void the warrany.

Regarding #2 and #3, does anyone know if these options are generally available pre-painted?

 

Hello, fellow Calgarian here. My gf is looking into getting one as well. As for mods, I think exhaust should be first. It's minor enough not to void warranty although it still depends on the dealer. However, i heard that the Cobalt already has a 2.5" exhaust. If so that should be suffeciant enough. I'm running a 2.5" on mine with Stage2. Its sufficient enough up to 300whp for my application anyways.

hey, from Stratford Ontario here, just waiting for the Black SS/SC with sunroof the dealer said is coming in the next 2-4 weeks (i'm thinking definately not even till after 4 weeks) Might go with the Rally Yellow tho, gonna go to Guelph and check out the dealership there, they have 9 coupes in different colours!

 

St Catharines here, got 2 SS S/C coming in the next 2 weeks black and yellow. I really wanna see one in blue in person, at the same time black always looks so bad ass.

Dealer said 5- 7 weeks.
I'll keep praying. Had to put $1000 deposit on it. The dealership was only allowed to order 3 of them.

I pickup my red (red inserts) SS\SC on tuesday or wednesday (April 5-6). Right now it seems that only 4 more are coming to this area and after talking to other dealers these cars don't seem to be spoken 4 yet. Is anyone else out here in the lower mainland who is getting an SS\SC? or guys who have the coupes/sedans already?
