http://www.supertint.com/auto_films/prov_by_prov.html

In case anyone was wondering on what is legal or not, Supertint has provided us with a guideline based on what the laws are from province to province.

I have looked at that a few times and I still don't understand what is meant by "vague". In NB you can't have any, in ON everyone I know practically has limo tint.

I think vague either means they don't have an official Law in place, or it's left up to the descretion of the officer who pulls you over.

Vague law. Law simply says that the windshield and front side windows cannot be tinted to the extent that people and contents inside cannot easily be identified from the outside.

In addition my son tells me that an officer can request to see the tinting certification slip provided by the window tinter to the vehilce owner.

This is tru and if they thinking your tint is too dark or cant provide documentation they can give u a 7 day ticket to get it removed.

Didn't know that there were so many regulations, but if it's for the protection of an officer when he pulls someone over, I think it's worth it.

If you see a cop, just roll the windows down so he can see you and they won't pull you over to get a closer look!!!!! My cop buddies gave me this tip.
