Ya another night of 4x4in in heavy snow with the Ranger. What else can you do when you've been under a boil water advisory for three days so far. When I got home last night around 11:00 it was bad but not as bad as this morning (as you can see by the pic).
Oh ya....the electricity went out at 3:00 am. and finally came back on at 11:00 a.m. 8 hours...not bad usually 12 hours.
Well time to put the camping gear away until the next electric outage and off to boil water. Apparently we will have drinking and showering water in about 10 days or so. To much high turbidity and not enough clorination.

Hope no one else is getting this stuff as bad.

that reaaaaaaaally sucks...i hate the snow and id be pissed without water to shower in....

 

.......Good thing I have one of those 10 gallon camping shower bags. Works real well! I told my wife that in order to conserve water we would have to shower together. It turns out I have to get a larger shower bag.

 

Worst part of it all is the snow hasn't let up and now squalls. Highways closed and no work today.
Time for some Ranger activity with the boys.

 

wow, that sux... i thought it was bad when my electiricty went out for a few hours a couple weeks back..

 

Well there ya go ~ everything has an 'upside'. Consider it a break from the 'norm'!

Especially about the shower part??? notice the ' ? '... cuz I really don't know
