Has anyone seen this happen to their cars?
When i open the sunroof all the way it stops about and 2 to 3 inches short. What i mean is that the visor for the sunroof can go back still about 3 to 4 inches back when i move it back but sunroof wont. Is this normal or just my sunroof needs to be fixed?

Do all the thread searches on mine. There is currently one running. You can see PenguinPie pictures. Yes, its a fact! Mine's 3-4" too short also. My dealer is waiting for the GM Engineers to call back regarding an adjustment or replace the whole entire assembly! Yes, there's a problem with your sunroof. My visor works just fine, its the glass that won't retract all the way. There's also issues regarding the clip around the open/close button.

 

Do you have XM? There was a thread about this a while back.
I believ that the sunroof only opens to a certain point so that it doesn't block the XM antenna.
I know my shade (visor) goes farther back then the sunroof actually opens.

 

Yes, I have XM. Its still too far away from the antenna. In reality, it won't block the reception. Almost NOTHING blocks the reception. I have it in my house too and one of those portable boomboxes. Only going through a tunnel you MIGHT lose the signal. The sunroof will not block the signal.

 

Yes I saw your thread before also but I thought the thread was about problems with visors not sunroof but thanks for the info. I am going to my dealer on friday for check so well see what he says

Yes, we are actually talking about the sunroof/glass. Shade is fine. Still waiting for my dealer to call. I'll probably call them today.
