I answered my own question.
ID have ran from him hehe asuming it was a crown vic.

Standard are all-wheel disc brakes, and independent short and long arm front and four bar link rear suspension. Top speed is limited to 129 mph and braking distances are long, at about 145 feet.

"well son, you could have easily out ran me, but at the same time you could have easily killed yourself or someone else on the road." "Ill cut you a break this time"
who knows. Unless you actually have the tickets we have no idea what happend.

I once was tagged faster then that Cobalt driver and I saw emergency vehicle lights in the mirror and immediately started slowing down. The right thing to do is pull over... Running only creates more problems for yourself. The cop asked me if I knew what he pulled me over for and I totally thought he was being a smart ass, I almost said "Flying too low?" but thankfully I was able to keep my mouth closed.

I was with a friend when he was clocked at 165 in an 80. The car he was driving was an late 80's Oldsmobile. The speedo only went to 140. When the cop asked him how fast he thought he was going he said.
"I'm not sure officer......... My speedo only goes to 140. I'm hoping your radar can let me know." He used X-Copper to lower it to 40 over.

Hehe I remember a few of us getting some 2 nights free w/ski at Sunshine and we lived in Kananaskis. Of course we were late on the go, had to stop for booze and some extracurricular smokes, so we piled in a new rental minivan (he was the budget dealer in K-country) We came off the offramp onto the #1 and pushed it up to 180. LOL 35 Kms later we saw the cherries busting it to catch us. We all knew the cop and he tagged us at the offramp and it took him that long to finally get us. 30 over and thank god we were all clean!
