Yo,

I'm trying to figure out who is close to the KW/Guelph area, if there are many I want to see if I can get a meet sponsored by local Chev dealers...what I was thinking is that we all pull into 1 Chev dealer and break into the parts department and steal overpriced parts..

Nah just kidding....

I'd like to however start some regular meets in the KW/Guelph area, every 2 weeks or so, like a sunday night....Plz let me know, and let all your friends know...want to try to get a local Chev dealer to help sponsor it, any help would be great...here are some locations I suggest...

The old LuLu's parking lot in Kitchener...
A&W parking lot in guelph by the galaxy cinema's....
Mohawk casino parking lot at the corner of Guelph Line and 401...

Chat a little, shoot the ****, go for a cruize, make some friends whatever....Maybe start up a local chapter...go to the bars wearing our matching Chev cobalt shirts and florescent green hats...sweet!!!

If I can get solid numbers 10+ I'll buy some coffee and bring it down...lemme know what you take in it....

 

I'm definitely in, the only two in the area that I know of that are on this site are myself and Keeper51, we actually end up bumping into eacher on the road every couple weeks and pull over to shoot the ****. I'm definitely in for some KW meets, and I'm sure he would be as well.

Destructo do yo have a friend that works at performance improvements in guelph, if so I bought a CAI from him.

 

Sick, sounds good, hopefully others have a look at this thread and join us....No I don't have a friend at PI, I haven't bought anything from there for a long time, most of the stuff is chaeper mail-order anyway...I go tmy AEM CAI for 150 shipped.

Let's see what kind of response we get here and go from there!!! Hopefully more then 2

 

Depending on the times on Sunday night I might be able to make the trip down for at least one of them...besides I still have to get down to KW to see Jody's new place . I'll keep my eyes open for anything but I know the next three weekends are definitely out of the question for me.

As a future Cobalt owner i would show up. Depending if the GF stays over on the weekend. Though i can't stay too late considering i have to get up at 3am for work UGH!!

well, i haven't been on this site posting much i must admit, kinda trolling a lil, not on it very often so i appologize, but i'm on here now. I'm totally up for some meets in the KW/Guelph area. I live over near fairview park mall and I work in Guelph during the week, so really anything is open to me, just a time and place and i'll be there along with Jephron and maybe we can get Permafried's lazy ass down here too lol

sounds good to me, anywhere is good for me, i'm pretty central where i live so just about any spot is good for me. And daylight is a key thing yes, gotta be able to admire all the beautiful cobalts sitting together as the ricers drive by and drool, then when we catch em they give us the finger and squack their tires

 

Sundays are fine by me and no complaints about that timeframe either...that stretch of 401 between Cambridge and London is boring as all hell the darker it gets . I believe after the July 1st weekend my schedule should clear up for a bit so I'll let you local guys organise and keep an eye on things. Something close to the 401 would be best if possible...I know KW well enough to somewhat find my way around but anything too isolated and I'll be driving in circles all day .

Jody...make sure if possible you guys get a weekend goin' when I could drop by your place and check it out. I'd assume Scott will be tagging along as well (depending on when it is the g/f might be in Europe so I'll have to introduce you another time) so we could make a day out of it before the meet or somethin'.

 

Well i'm just right off the 401 so u could always hit me up first and we could make a tour down to wherever we decide to have this. Lets throw some ideas out there. I'm thinking that we could have a coffee thing, i dunno say like a tuesday or thursday next week, just kinda meet up a few of us, and get the ball running at some Tim Hortons. Although i don't suggest the Tim Hortons by the Kitchener Aud since that place is always crawling with bikes and rice rockets, although, could be interesting tho lol Might start a war

As far as dropping by anytime is good man, whatever ur schedule permits u to do and make sure Scotty brings his camera so he can take some amazing pics like the last meet we went to

I know Kitchner pretty well, I know it's a badly designed town with crappy roads, so the Tim Hortons by the Aud is fine by me...I would have to find where that is though....Unless we want to meet somewhere like the old LuLu's parking lot and actually do an SS cruise?

that would be sick, lke 5-6 SS's pulling into the Tim's or where ever....that would rock....We can blast our Gino beats through our factory sub-woofers...lol..just kidding...

Next Tues, 7-7:30ish? Maybe meet at sportsworld close to the 401, and then cruise to wherever we decide? How does that sound?

alright, sounds cool with me too, so that's 3 SS's so far now for a matter of a couple hours, can we get some more? Doubt Permafried will come down on a tuesday for a coffee thing since he does have work the next day and he'd be kinda pushing it to get here for 7-7:30 ish so, maybe he will. So we have a few days to get some more people out and we can actually decide which tim hortons we'll go to, but that sounds cool meeting at the old Lulu's and going for a cruise.

Holy ****!!!! if your coming from Niagara there should be no excuse why every cobalt within 100 mile radius can't be here LOL I'm sure i'm not the only one that will say this but u come over for it, we'll return the favour with a visit to Niagara sometime this summer!!

Anyway 3 so far, Me, Jeph, and keeper...there is a guy down my way that has a cobalt SS with a carbon fiber hood and trunk..i'll see if I can get his atttention by hitting on his girlfriend....
