Ya definitely won't make it down on the Tuesday...between rush hour London traffic (especially working downtown) and then the 401 I'd be pushing my luck trying to get there in time. Let me know what ideas come out of the get together though and I'll try to free up a weekend if you guys pick an "official" date .

As for Scotty taking pics I'm sure he'll bring his camera again...he did an awesome job at the TO meet so now he's pretty much screwed himself into being the official photographer .

 

7:30ish should be good for me. Not like were gonna show at 7:30 and then leave at 7:31. If we meet at Lulu's we can always decide which Tim Hortons before ahead of time were gonna cruise to so if anyone is late or decides last might they wanna go and just head over to Timmy's they can do that too

 

So tim hortons by the aud? Does that have a big parking lot? I like to park my car diagonally over 3 spaces..lol

Ok Tues at 7:30ish, meet a LuLu's old parking lot, then we cruize to the Tim Hortons near the Aud...and if we happen to run into any China on teh way, then we mine as well take em out..lol...

Alright, 7:30 at Lulu's old parking lot is fine by me, i'll be there, take me 5 mins to get there from where I live. Now as far as the parking lot whenever i drive by there are either bikes or other cars there meeting up so I dunno until we go past if it's good, we could always go for a cruise by. The parking lot at the Tim Hortons in New Hamburg is big enough for us, if we go there maybe a local or 2 might come by and that might be a lil closer for Permafried to head down, but not likely. I'll think of other timmy's with nice parking lots during the day, gonna head out and paint my calipers yellow today

 

actually i was just thinking about it in the shower but the timmy's by the Aud is the perfect one because the Tim Hortons is right beside Stedlebauers which is a Chevrolet dealership with lots of our lil brothers and sisters sitting there with no homes yet :-(

Alrite I think I've got things figured out for the next while so if you guys wanted to try getting something together for July 9th I'm 90% sure I'll be able to make it. If anything changes I'll let you know but for now looks like that'll be the only weekend where I'm not in Toronto chilling out at the airport .

Actually come to think of it July 15th might also work if the 9th doesn't assuming the arrival time I was given and my time difference/flight time calcs are correct. I need to be at Pearson by 10 or so I believe so I'd be passing by the area that day anyways. I could head down earlier in the afternoon for a meet and then just leave from there and head to TO.

 

Well, our first coffee meet has come and gone, and were thinking of doing this again, make it say a weekly thing possibly. The 3 SS/SC, yellow, black and blue and a red cavy who is a potential owner in the future of an SS/SC will agree with me from tonight that the Tim Hortons by the Kitchener Aud is the perfect spot. I work in Guelph so we could always have say a Tim Hortons meet in Guelph as well, or whatever. Lets throw some ideas out there from the 4 of us that were there tonight and anybody else that is thinking about it whether u have a cobalt or not ur welcome to come I don't mind. Last lil meet I was at in London we had 4 cobalts, 1 vw golf and 2 srt-4's so come on out, lets get something going. Lets see if we can get 10 cobalts out to a coffee run by say the end of August. As for a day thats perfect for you Permafried, let us know which day u want or that will be the best, i'm thinking prolly the 15th would be ur best day since ur coming down here anyways to go to the airport. Anyways, in short only 3 cobalts showed up but it certainly was not a waste of time those 2 hours we chatted, we certainly attracted a lot of attention from people looking at, coming over at and even smoking their tires as they drove past us lol and only 3 cobalts were there, get 10 out there we'd own that parking lot.

 

Once she's got her tickets in her hand and everything is set I'll let you know. I think her sister might have had some of the times mixed up so the flight on the 15th could potentially be in TO at 7am not 10pm. I'll know no later than the weekend of the 1st since she leaves on the 2nd but I'd assume she'll have her tickets before then.

 

Alright, well at this point I don't care where or when or whatever, i'd much rather go for a coffee and have 3 cobalts show up and just shoot the **** and not do anything, not that posting on this site is bad or anything dont' get me wrong, but it's summer, get out and enjoy the cobalt and why not make some cobalt friends. I mean off this website alone I bet i'm at like 30 people i've met now so.

I especially enjoyed the black smoke coming out of the blue mazda mx-6 that tried to gun it....let's all burn oil!

I also agree that next time we need more cobalts out and about...let's set something up.

It was good getting out with cobalt owners. I can honestly say that the guys have pride in there cars and are quite knowledgeable of them as well.

I took part in IASCA competitions years ago and got the same type of vibe where it is a unique community. They have convinced me to get a ss/sc as my next car just a matter of what model year.

We also discovered that a redneck gets extra horsepower and torque out of a camaro by installing the laundry basket option into his car. (you had to be there)
