Sunday Sunday SUNDAY! 4pm this Sunday Aug 21 @ 559 speers Rd in Oakville, look for Halton Transmissions sign at the road, Neetronics shop/dyno is out in the back.
Thanks for the update, wish it could have been earlier cause im coming from far away but oh well.
Hmm, he told me 11:00am so I sent him an email asking if he is giving us all different times and I am first.
I know mine will have more drive train loss because of the rear wheel drive so I kinda want to see how it compares to others on the dyno.

I thought 4pm was a little late lol, Im guessing you're right that we have different times, and because I'm just a re-tune and local I go last which is fine by me as I go out to 403/Dundas or Queenston and Nash after anayways
Contact SSKev for your time to tune, I'm sure he will confirm with us individually

Just heard back from keV. He wanted to tune my Solstice first and the Balts after so he has given us all different times. I am planning on staying around a bit to see how mine compares to the cobalts.
There are a few tuned solstices in the GTA but most of them seem to be canned tunes like trifecta so I am hoping I pull some good numbers. Most of the guys on the Solstice forum seem to not be as high performance oriented as the cobalt crowd.
The consensus on the Solstice forum is that intakes and charge tubes are only sound and/or visual mods. When I see the squashed charge tubes i have on my Solstice i can't help thinking they represent a restriction on the top end at the least.
I plan to get keV to tune me now with just the high flow cat and cat back, run it for the rest of the season and pick up an intake and charge pipes over the winter.
If any of you are planning updating your tune in the spring let me know because I would like to do a another run on the same dyno with and without the new intake and charge pipes
Cool, and I'll be early so I can watch and meet you guys.
SLash do you find most solstice owners are older than your average cobalt owner?
Looking forward to seeing your Solstice getting on the dyno

Yeah, but i was already an old bastard when I bought my balt. I fit in better age wise with the Solstice owners but not only enjoy modding my car but also like wrenching on it.
They just seem a little less inclined to push the boundaries these cars. It might be because for many of them the Solstice is a summer toy and they own other cars that are much faster than the Solstice will ever be.
Tune day! Yep I'm a lil bit excited lol. Just got new tires on and my tranny mounts in she'll have no traction issues today. I'll see you guys out there
Nice, got my plugs, oil changed and ZZP DP installed. Hoping (fingers crosses) to hit the 300 hp mark but dont think ill get it Since im the last one to go i wont be showing up till later. Good luck all.
Thanks to Dutchman for getting this organized!
Hopefuly this works.
ssKev said there was probably a few more horespower in it cause they forgot to turn the blowers on. This is after detuning a tad because the stock clutch was slipping.
