I actually saw an older Jetta right before I left for Vegas in front of the Point West intersection who busted his ball joint. It folded the wheel hard into the fender well. Get that taken care of ASAP.

 

Thats what I am trying to do. LOL on the highway i get a wicked shimmy its kinda scary.

Well Justin has found out he needs a new clutch in the civic. So if he can get away from the family, head to the the shop tonight to get the civic out of the way and get the Slobalt on the hoist. Then workin by myself dropping the motor and trans out tomorrow.

 

I can help for a bit friday during the day (unless boss finds me some OT)

 

I'm back to work on Friday. Hope to build the motor Sunday.

Motor/trans/subframe out

 

So i've had a small leak in one of my tires for the past couple days.
I took the wheel off today to check it out and my ******* rim is cracked!
a hairline crack on the inside right by the bead!
I'm gonna take it to wheel works hopefully they can weld it up if not I'm gonna need a rim .... or 4

 

They will be able to fix that no problem
