Picked up my new motor last night. If anymore ever needs Balt parts, Steve is the guy to see! Tonight, just gotta disconnect my struts and the motor comes out. Pull the head off and see wtf happened. Friday night, swap all my go fast parts to the new motor. Saturday, put the motor back in the car.

Anyone interested in a set of dual interceptors for an ss sc?

They light up red and are pt series. I think they could be had for 200-250.
A friend of mine used to have a Gtp Grand Prix and had been sitting on them for a couple years and doesn't really know what they are worth. Let me know if you are interested and I could tender a deal.

Very sexy brakes! And I may have someone interested in those interceptors.

Soooo motor is out and I pulled the head. No real major damage up top. #4 has a bit of scoring. But when I turn the motor over by hand there's a tight spot in it. So it must be a bottom end rod bearing. Probably #4. I'm going to assume some **** ran up that cylinder. Ugh... Lesson learnt, don't but a built motor from someone that isn't a business. I sent him a message. Going to ask for some sort of compenstaion but I'm not feeling too lucky about that.

Sucks to hear that Dustin. Atleast it's not a sleeve or a piston. I hope he does get back to you with a deal but the way things go on here, I'm kinda skeptical. Hope your other motor holds up til you get this one fixed properly!

Well the shitty thing is the scoring is deep enough that I dont think it's going to hone out . So the cylinder would have to be resleeved. The shitty part is when I picked up the motor there was some very minor scoring the hone wouldn't take out right at the top of the cylinder on 2 of them and he failed to tell me this. When I asked billy about it being concerned he assured me his machine shop said it wouldn't be an issue. Well guess where the scoring is... But the pistons should be fine. I hope.

Damn that sucks even more. And people wonder why legit sellers don't make faster sales with the parts they sell. Shitty luck man!

If you need anything, my motor and parts are still in my basement. The motor is broke down into pieces so shipping it or even driving it out your way wouldn't be much of an issue. Just a thought lol

When I get my new motor in, ill tear this one down. It's definitely a bearing problem. If its spun or not I'm not sure. Usually when that happens its loud. But who knows.

I bought those off Troy when his car burnt.

250 both sets of rotors and pads. I'm impressed with how muh quiter than stock they are.

I just did my front brakes too. Looks like you had as much fun as I did bashing out those pins.

Dustin hope to see you cruising around soon! You must be getting pretty good at dropping a LSJ

The dealership did you mean. Lol.

Yeah they broke both pins on the passenger side. Car was down for 4 days because of it.

Lol to have the engine on the stand took me 5 hours by myself with hand tools. Not bad I thought.
