SRI might actually do more harm then good.

Theae cars you really cant do a sri without a tune causes more issues.

 

Yup. According to what I've read the K&N is the only intake that doesn't mess with fuel trims too badly.

Would they only make it run richer or do you need to worry about it leaning itself out too much? I'd feel safer running rich than anything.

(edit) Muffler delete would be fun for a short while too. You catless or anything? I think eventually I wanna add a cutout just for the lolz.

Well I cut around the top of the box and fit a aem cone in the plastic tubing. And I have a zzp catless dp. This is just temp till I get a k&n Sri. And with the muffler delete I'm actually pretty happy with it. Quiet under normal driving. But when you step on it lol its loud. Sounds similar to an srt4.i also have a trifecta tune

 

Any way to monitor your fuel trims?

 

Not at the moment. So they might be out of whack a bit. But the cone sits right in the bottom air box. Also still factory piping. So I can't see a cone sending the fuel trims way out of whack. But I would like to find out though

Your car had no knock at that time. But your clutch was most definitely fucked and I put the nail in the coffin on it with that pass hahahahaha

 

Dustin and I will be putting our GMPP clutches to the test at the track this year

 

Can't wait to try this set up with slicks. Just the slick combo in itself is 30lbs lighter than my drag radial set up.

 

After all them nice rides last night all I can think off is doing up my car more. Hood, paint, springs, tint, headlights etc..... the list keeps growing arrrg!
