Lol mike that's sweet. I've been going to the gym 4-5 days a week for the last ..5 months now? Ask dustin.
If you need advice on what to do feel free to ask me and Dustin.
IF you are serious about it, you need to diet hard and be motivated and have a goal when you go to the gym. Not just go and say "chest day" and do some dumbbell press.
Try to combine days together for helping muscle groups. I.E Chest/tris
Also mike. If you don't have a trainer for the gym, Check out bodybuilding.com. They have lots of helpful workout routines/advice.

Nope Maximum Fitness in Steinbach. Guy's wife from work manages it so I got a decent rate. Started going with my Dad because he wanted to get health and lose weight. But I really enjoy it. The feeling after a good workout is crazy awesome even though getting myself to the gym sucks.

No I don't have a trainer. i have been kinda have assed doing it myself. I bought some dumbells and have been using those and running the stairs in my building. I am losing fat as my pants size is going down but my weight is not going down as quick.
I have taken a few fitness bootcamps over the years so I kinda know the basics but yes I need help. For me to make my weight class I need to drop 30 LBS as I wanna fight in the heavyweight class and not the super heavyweight class
SO I am looking around for a gym to help, and Dustin the good man he is said he can help me out a bit.

Also since you are fighting, you are going to want to create explosive energy, there is one thing about lifting weights to look big and gain muscle mass but for sports you need to build explosive energy. Athletes will typically take a day in their training to do explosive/strength training exercise
This is a good article if you are interested in doing so

and cardio cardio cardio. If i was you i would dedicate mornings or something to just doing cardio.
If you are serious about it and get a gym memby, Mornings cardio, go to work, after work strength training, sleep repeat.
Guys like me and Dustin cant really do cardio or else we will skim down the bulk we need to build more muscle mass (more in my case, less in dustins) you however need to cut. Working strength is only going to gain you weight if you don't diet/cardio.
