Out truck shopping with the old man today! He bought a 2014 Chev Silverado! Not a bad truck. He just got the WT with a power group and 4x4. Just a basic truck.

That's brutal. Should of tried to find where the dog lived and given crap to the owners.

I did find it, but I was nice. if there would have been damage id have raised hell. I cleaned and looked bumper over, no damage at all, very surprised cause I hit going about 30 or 40. Dog did some screaming, but 5 minutes later was ok apparently from what I could tell.

Ya is you hit a pet and drive off you can get charged pretty bad.

But glad it worked out. Sounds like you and the dog got lucky.

Reminds me when I crushed a big ass raccoon at 110 k on my way home from sunday night cruising. I thought for sure I busted my bumper or lip because it went for a ride under my car. Thankfully the car was unhurt except his head bent the hell out of my license plate haha. I think my heat exchanger kept the bumper from smashing.

A friend hit a coyote doing well over the speed limit. The old fiberglass bumper didn't hold up too well.

The thing is pretty built too. Too bad he's always having issues with it.
