Starts with a Stage 2. Next thing ya know you have a TVS with a ported head and cams lol

I took my car out today. Vaccum is much better at idle. Car actually feels pretty good on 15psi considering the turbo is hardly working! It was raining on and off all day and the forecast looks like **** all week so I didn't bother putting it back on the road but it's back home.

A local Dustin and I know busted a ring land on his TC running 27psi with the k04 for a little too long. 21 blow off valve salute goes out to him and his motor

You don't know him. He has bought a bunch of parts off Dustin. He needed something off me and it turned out to be a good customer I knew from Headingley sport shop haha.

Where r those guys who will argue it's the tune the caused it, of course it is, it was tuned to to high a psi and the turbo was blowing hot air.

I find it cool how the zfr just isn't doing anything really till about 20 psi, then u hear it spool comparied to the k04 that is screaming at 15 psi already

Guys who ordered my old parts, my new parts should be here this week so soon, soon.

Lol ya he said that tune has been on the car for 3 years. Just goes to show how stout those pistons are to take that kind of abuse for that long.

Wow no kidding. No think of how long a 22 psi tune would have gone lol

22 psi could last forever as it's under the known stress point on the car.
Anyone going 25psi or higher especially on a fast spooling smaller turbo is asking for a ring land to go. Heat and pressure are not friendly. Too bad it happened to him. First thing I told him was to get his psi turned down a bit before one of his ring lands go. As the hp gain is minimal after 24psi on the stock turbo and it's just torque gains after that.

Stock turbo. I'm not sure on all bolt ons, but I know it has a downpipe and ZZP stock cam with the bigger fuel lobe. I'll know more tomorrow when we meet up!

He will be on E85, no meth. And I'm not sure where he will want to stop for boost. Will figure it all out tomorrow! Have another local waiting to put his exhaust and dp on so we can finish his 24 psi 91 tune too.
