So when I first got my car I raced my buddies 08 SI and it was neck and neck tbh we both got a few kills and so I see this 2011+ SI when I was cruising tonight and at the lights we both go at it and I completely dusted him by 3+ car lengths and we did 2 pulls after, and each time I put lengths on him. So what gives? Why was it so close with my buddies 08 SI?

it was a roll in 2nd and 3rd gear. Because I now know that in 2nd gear at 4,000rpm that's it's sweet spot so I'm learning the car more and more

No matter what year of SI if it's stock your car should smoke it. In gimli you'll always see a few SI's pop up running like mid 15's

Yeah with GMS2 and a working IC pump you should have no issue pulling a stock 8th gen SI or RSX-S. Watch out for the ones with I/H/E and a K-pro/Flash-Pro flash though, they are pretty quick for N/A.

I read up about the cobalts IC pump problems so I'm actually going to check today to see if it's working because I know I have to fix a kink in one of the tubes.

An aero force interceptor is your friend and a great investment. It will allow you to monitor a ton of things. Like intake temps. Would tell you right away how well your system is working. And if I recall the tri pod on that car you have filled with boost, coolant or trans temp? and oil pressure gauges. Oil pressure is nice to see. Critical no. You could ditch the coolant/trans temp gauge and install an interceptor. Much more benificial. If you ever wanted a custom tune id ditch the oil pressure gauge for a wideband.

Nos guage resolves all issues. A clock that resembles a boost gauge is always a good option

yeah that's a good idea. You think I can hit 300whp with stage 3 , exhaust, tune, and dyno?

No you'd need PnP head, cams, LS tb, meth or E85 basically a pretty big M62 build Mark here is pretty close to it tho

The dyno mod will definitely put you at 300whp . Would probably put you around 250whp.

Lol no he's not. And the bolded reasons are why. Also lacking a proper tune. If I had to guess i'd say he's probably around 270whp.

I think he will need a tvs or meth injection for 300whp

If I was u, I'd scrap the supercharger and turbo it

I like the supercharger though lol plus a turbo swap would be to expensive.. I just want to run full bolt on's and a tune. Was just curious on if it was attainable.

although adding a 50 shot would put me over the 300whp mark
