Well, I'm gonna get all 5 windows done and the top band of the windshield, all at legal max. Guy said it would be $250 for all of it and he'll come to Orion and do in in an hour and a half while i watch. Comes with a warranty too. Apparently they know how to attack the rear window with its little black metal spots.

PS, I'd love stronger tint on the sides too, if poss cause the legal stuff doesnt show up well in a side view.
EDIT: OH! and how about the little metal spots? Any bubbles?

i got mine done at Ming for 200 bucks even. Illegal of course.. They wont talk about illegal tint over the phone, you have to go down there. They ddint drive the car, and they even washed it. I have no complaints about them.
Tint King did my truck with 5%, but I had a buddy hook me up with them, so I dont know their story.

Cooper at HYPERformance put it on for me. I did get a bit of a deal, but i'm sure they can be done for 200 or a little less. The only catch is hes in Calgary right now(at his other shop), and I'm not 100% sure when hes commin back. I imagine he'll be back in a couple weeks.
I cant remember what % i got(****, I cant even remember what the legal % is), But I do know I have legal on the front, and used the same % on the back. At first I diddnt know if it was dark enough, but now I dont think I would go any darker, I really like it!
We did run into the 'dot matrix' problem. It really wasnt that bad, I just diddnt like it. So I took it back and he redid the whole back window, except he sanded down the dots. It diddnt turn out perfect, but now its barely noticeable. If I was to ever get it redone I'd definitely be buying this stuff though! http://www.dotmatrixwindowtinting.com/
EDIT: oh yea, he might do illegal tint too

This is just a thought, but seeing as how a few of u guys want tint, Why not try calling tintking or ming or anywhere for that matter, and see if they'll do it cheaper if a few cars get done at the same time.

Does anyone deal with Gauthier chev for service?
I called them and made and appointment because the dealership I usually go to, and also work at, is giving me a hard time, saying the grooves I have on my front rotors are normal. The groove is pretty much the depth of a dime!

my parents deal with gautier....never again...
They are by far the worst when it comes to quality/customer service by far! They will do anything not to cover something under warrenty...
By the sounds of it that should be covered...
I like dealing with Murray or Orion...I recently brought in my car for squeaking brakes and they reserfaced the rotors for me under warrenty with no hassles......hopefully they will always be this helpful

When I called they diddnt seem too bad, but then again I'm used to dealing with a very stingy service dept. On the phone they said they would do it under warrenty, but I know things can change very quickly. I'll try them and if I get the some bs story, I'm gonna try orion. I've heard nothing but good things about them.
I've brought my car into my dealership 3 times in the past 3 months for sqeaking breaks/grooves, and every time they feed me some **** about it being normal, just like the grooves

Yeah - I have nothing but good things to say about the guys at Orion.
And yeah - those tint numbers are correct - somewhere I posted a link to the legal schtuff - maybe in this thread, lol - too lazy to look. I'm going to hold off on tint until I get someone who can guarantee the dot matrix wont come out bad. That Magoops or whatever looks like the ticket. But yeah - if I wanted bubbles in my tint, I'd do it myself like on my 1987 Plymouth Turismo I had hahahaha...
But Hispano1, count me in if it's a go - barring any issues with dot matrix

who is all in to get tints asap???
1.hispano1
2. Thought
3. ssnipes
I will go 35% all the way around. if they make me redo it then it would be for just 2 windows.
