Slicks can easily shave off .4 secs off your 60ft, and that equates to shaving off 0.6-0.8 seconds off your total 1/4 mile time.
People underestimate tires unfortunately. Best mod imo, all the HP in the world won't do **** if you can't put it down to the ground.

would axles need to be upgraded when running slicks?

well thats my concern, like Dayn said you can take it easy on the launch, but its still hard on the axles in 2nd too... There is a guy on here that broke his axles in 3rd.. but i'm sure they were weakened already lol.

But lower your PSI a bit on your stock tires.. it should help somewhat

I might have a camera out this weekend as I'm just watching, no racing for me

Two years ago I told them I was a stock FWD on street tires so maybe a high 14 LOL, I ended up running high 12's with no helmet and no one said a thing.
No insult taken, tq is the biggest burden in a NA Honda, the reason I launch so high is because my peak 157tq is at 5500RPM. Launching from 7000 allows me to slightly feather the clutch in during launch and land at that 5500RPM range to take advantage of whatever tq we have lol

Raising the psi a little on the slicks will save my OEM clutch from burning out too bad, and just wear out the slicks (which is easily replaceable)

Nevermind you taking the videos, sounds like you have some spectators that can do all the recording from the sidelines =) Just give them the camera lol

day pass = $40 for unlimited runs depending on time. you can bring 1 guest.

each additional guest is $10.

I think Test & Tune is $40 to race, $10 per spectator. I'm not 100% sure, but that's what I remember from last season. I remember they used to let any people you bring in your car for free because you designated them "pit crew" But I think that's squashed now. Anyone know for sure?

The free spectator was squashed late last year, so I'm not sure if they'll do it again. Opening weekend is usually not bad because the big fast cars dont run till Sunday and Monday, they might make a pass here and there but usually they'll just be setting up because it's 3 days of racing.

You should be able to get 8-12 runs in this saturday as long as there's no delays.

They're not in a row, you do your run and then you line up behind 30 cars. Most people shut their cars off and push them forward. You will have 20-40 minutes between runs so don't worry. I hope to see that exhaust in action

I know this wasn't directed at me, but to give you another idea, they shaved 1.0-1.2sec of my time.

i completly agree....i have had no problems with orion! yeah i work there...but i still have no problems as a customer. even when mss got screwed over ,they came and asked me some questions regarding stage 2 and flashing...... i can give them street cred for that.there are key people there i will not let even touch my car let alone work on it (not naming names ) but they still get **** done for me.
