A very very high pitch noise hidden inside the SC whine. It actually starts a little before the SC whine so you can catch a good listen if he does a few pulls. Very weird sound. Personally I don't think it is from the SC it almost sounds like a whistle. High frequency so if you don't have decent hearing you may not even notice it.
On a side note ryan, i think it is time to change my filter. At 2K rpm you can hear the car sucking air. Must be getting plugged up.

Without a doubt. Just ask Courtney what my filter looked like when I took it out of my car a few weeks ago. We really need to order you a cleaning kit, and maybe a spare filter.

i would almost bet every single one of us ss/sc's have that oil in the TB. i cleaned mine out at 7500km and the car runs better now. i was amazed what built up in such a short period of time.

so orion figured out my coolant problem......
they have to order a new head for the motor.its burning through excessive coolant ! so its covered by warranty. its just a matter of waiting till the part gets in lol

Fuel pump and sending unit
Wheels repainted with rubber dismounted and remounted with different rubber (that was a classic. thanks to MSS26 if I remember correctly)
CV BOOTS x2
Spark plugs (fouled x1) so I got all of them.
I am probably forgetting some stuff. I wasnt an ass to them. I just asked for it, and reasons why. I would sometimes get no but another dealer would say yes. I only went to three dealers by the way. but not murrays. they were so poor in the service dept and parts. I try not to go to them for anything. cost them future car sales IMO.

Wes, about the stage 2 flash, the tech told me to flash it with a proper flash because GM has no way of telling that we changed it since HPT only changes what is within the flash so it will look like I have stock.
(yah dah yah dah)
So I am pretty sure I would be putting stock pulley/belt and injectors back on and paying for them to update my flash (since it overwrites the current modded one)

Yea, that's pretty well bang on. On that note, I want to get my car flashed back to Stage2 before I take it in to get this noise fixed. As of yet, they haven't touched the car other then a road test with me, but the Manager is still calling me daily with progress... or lack there of... updates. The vibe I'm getting from him so far is that Engineering thinks it's a fault actually inside the engine and not the Supercharger... But, that's all speculation.
The Manager basically told me they've been tossing up two different approaches... The first being rip the car appart until they find something wrong with it.. or alternatively do as much research as they can before they even take the car from me. Obviously they would prefer to do the latter, being the least costly of the two. He also indicated that unless they know exactly where to look for the issue, I may be without the car for a few weeks while they work on it...

as for flash back to "GMS2 the MAJ Version", I still have it. we just need the cable from KENNY. I sure we could arrange something at A&W even. I would just bring my Laptop and done.
