For anyone interestred. I had about 3 car lengths on a mazda speed 6 tonight with him having a half car head start. From a roll of 40-50k. 6 speed manual and their gears are short. He shifts into 3rd when i am only at 5k in 2nd. his first gear is very similar.

2nd gear was about even until i got above 5k then i was inching forward. 3rd gear I was passing him at a decent rate. Shut down at the end of 3rd gear with 3 cars on him.

the guy is one of my friends from work. great guy and it was a blast messing around. Went for a ride in his car and the damn thing handles like it is on rails. has an awesome interior and a ton of torque in 2nd.

 

But they are special, don't you know SRT-4's can't be beat.........Ever.

ya only 2 cool srt-4 owners out of all that i have met. pablo and the guy with the blue one that took me as a "guest" to gimli so i could save $10

though I wont go as far as to say srt4 owners are as thick headed as 5.0L/V8 mustang owners (though I have also met and enjoyed talking to 2 people in this group too).

well i had a grand am GT messing with me tonight....just because my headlight is gone dosen't mean im not faster than you. Beat him pretty bad after he was done goofing off....i had to go 20km/h to give him a thumbs up because he wouldnt get beside me again lol

yeah i even gave him a bit of a head start cause i wasn't sure he was going to punch it but he did. Once i got done spinning through 2nd (i was in the curb lane, damn sand haha) i passed him pretty easily

I swear, I would probably **** a brick if someone could prove this car is capable of a 0-60 time less then 22 seconds... Yes... It's that slow.
