Stage 3 and finalizing a divorce?
You know what your doing!
Jk

Stage three should be interesting.
Gonna get an exhaust set up?

Does it come with tue 50shot nitrous connection?
Or is it just the tune and injector upgrade?

You are thinking of the GMS3. ZZP's stage 3 is 2.8" pulley (i think thats what he's going with), 60's, canned tune and heat exchanger

Thanks! I meant to mention the pully: wouldn't be a very good stage tune without it!
Hit me with more fuel. But forget the air. Ha. Let's run rich!

I wasn't sure if zzp had the option for nitros
I'm assuming the algorithm is still in place in the canned tune if you chose to add it? Or because it's not the stupid locked down gm CPU you could likely change the values for say more nitros or meth inj.

Does that tune still have the ability to set the rpm as high as you want manually?
Most importantly can you still rock the ac?

i believe the answer is yes to all. I did hope to get the Dual Pass and Option b but the funds were shy but I hope to get those soon.

Get that zzp canned tune off as soon as possible. You will notice a big difference. I am tuning a zzp stg3 friend of mine here in winnipeg soon. from what i have read a HPT or Trifecta tune really wakes up the car compared to the can tune you get from zzp.

If i were you LSJ guys id pick up a LNF turbo manifold and a BW256 with the same flange. sexy time all over my face

I read the entire article about the gm stg3 combo hpt/trifecta tune.
It sounds about the coolest thing for Any cobalt. So many things you can do and controll on it!
Hell you can even get nls algorithm if you wanna start breaking ****!

Cool stuff!

The option b sounds like a must now that your gonna be pushing so much air. Heatsoak....

No you won't be able to set the rpm manually. That's a GMS3 thing. But with HP Tuners you can change anything. The only thing that makes ZZP's kit a stage 3 is it comes with a heat exchanger. Otherwise it's the exact same thing as my OTTP stage 2. Spring is here Dustin, need those taillights tinted?

Yup i have Mikes old taillights actually haha. I just don't have a spare set of side markers and 3rd brake light unfortunatly. But if you gave them to me on a Saturday morning i could have them back to you Sunday night. I just need 24 hours for the paint to dry.

They are peanuts. Pull the carpet back on each side and you will see 3 nuts that hold them on. And the 3rd brake light just take the carpet off the trunk that is held in with plastic push rivits and it's 2 nuts to take it out.

I should warn you, that I've been warned by a few police about my tail lights. They want one red rear light. Maybe leave the third brake light red if you want to be legal. Also I have my reverse white part tinted as well and that is also apparently illegal. just fyi

i had my tailights tinted with the reverse light still white for about a year. Never got pulled over. I also have had 20% tint for the last 4 years...(knock on wood)

but like garret said. If you expect to go out on sunday night with fully blacked out tail lights, chances are you will get pulled over and ticketed for everything illegal on your car.

HPT still works better for tuning an LSJ. Just go buy a Wot Box if you want NLS and launch control

So don't black them out. Just give them a light tint

That is very situational

Anyone can go buy HPT and call them self a tuner.

I would say a very well experienced tuner with HPT's can utalize it better then how Trifecta can. However, There is only a handful of people who i feel can utalize HPT better then Vince can with Trifecta.

Would you want someone who fixes cars for a hobby to fix your vehicle? or someone who is a mechanic as their career?
