The fact that you took the time to go back and qoute that makes me laugh a little.

Your right, when it was winter and i was broke i had zero desire to mod my vehicle. However it is summer now (not really but..) and there are a lot of promising things happening with the lnf (wait, didnt i say that already?).

as far as racing, i will do real man racing, track racing. not that drag racing toddler stuff you guys talk so much about

Dude that quote was like 3 pages back from 2 weeks ago. It's not like i had to go hunt into you're 20,000 posts to find it lol. You should be worrying about suspension upgrades if you want to do "real man racing". Not a different turbo and meth...

Solo sprint is a combination of handling and power. If i were to do only autox i would agree.

And no. The FE5 suspension in the LNF is top notch. Only upgrades that would benefit me currently is a ottp sway bar and pedders. The biggest upgrade for that is a set of tires (preferably 17 inch) and light weight rims. with a combination of brake pads. Considering only solo sprint race you will burn your brake pads off.

I did my drag racing days. I have realized my flaws. These cars are not built to perform exceptional well at drag racing. Road racing is were they really shine. Not to mention there is a lot more driver skill involved in a road race then a drag race. Drag racing is just cheaper IMHO.

Lol. not likely.
Always looking.
Salesman just offered me a test drive without inquiring about my intent.
So naturally I'm the proud new owner of a lancer....jk

Just took it for a rip. I would honestly consider one for my next car though. Very taught and makes the right noises backs it up with some punch. The best seats I've ever sat in. (I thought the tc seats were the ****). It was loaded to the **** too.... I would want an Evo though if I were to make the plunge.

Allot of other ways to spend 40,000$ though.. The options the options.

well boys, sold the ion. some dude drove from sioux lookout ontario and picked er up saturday. had 6K in hundreds and fifties in a ziplok bag lol. he drove it home 7 hours, with no problems. real good guy, he had 2 redlines before this one.
so i took that cash, put a down payment on 2 lakefront wooded lots just north of gimli, each lot is just under 1 acre. gonna keep one, and maybe sell the other if the market shoots up. ive always wanted to build a waterfront cabin so i guess this was meant to be.
now im looking to get a truck to haul materials. im thinking of a ford ranger fx4 level 2, or a 09-10 plane jane silverado 4x4. any suggestions?
im still gonna keep on css.net and stay in touch.

dustin, i still got your exhaust, and it aint goin anywhere, its locked up in the garage. you can grab it whenevs.

Yeah its a bitch getting it on the top. Nice. How you liking it? DP is the best mod (besides a tune) for a LNF IMO

Love it thus far. Sounds good, deep rumble when you get into boost, quiet when cruising, a nice added idle rumble, not Loud but enjoyable. And It feels like it pulls more consistenty up to redline.
All in all very happy with it!
