I can't recall is Jordan's trunk lid damaged?

I can recall the missing trunk lock, and plugs covering up the "missing" spoiler...

if not via the last site here are three links to get the ball rolling;

spoilerless & black w/reverse lights

spoilerless & red w/o reverse lights

I know that this third one isn't exactly what you're wanting - but hte price difference is striking;

sliver c/w low rise & reverse lights

Any of you guys running water/meth injection? Was wondering if there are any problems with it during the winter here.

I run meth injection. No issues at all during the winter. Just make sure you are running a strong enough meth/water ratio so it doesn't freeze.

Where do you have your injection nozzle mounted and did you go with a trunk mount tank or tap into your windshield holder?

I have an OTTP throttle body spacer. I tapped into my washer tank and mounted my pump behind my right headlight. The tank holds lots of fluid and it make running the plumbing and wiring a breeze.

Didn't pick one up yet, just got the throttle spacer cause he only had 3 left. But I am looking at either AIS or AEM, something with a progressive controller. Gonna wait till spring to hook it up cause that when i gonna get a trifecta tune.

How do you like your forge bpv? Do you find it closes and opens quicker than stock? Or simply holds boost longer under pressure?

Well, wish me luck guys - Im off to Saskatoon in the am to look at that 09 SS/TC(and bring home?). Im bringing the car to Wheaton GM to get it looked at, but is there anything else I should keep my eyes open for? I already know the back brakes and rotors have to be replaced.

Btw I received another offer from MPI on Friday - They upped their offer from $9,700 + tax to $10,600 + tax - once again I declined it. I guess the battle will continue when I get back from sask.

The forge is good, no real change from stock other than it is more durable. I found the stock one sh*t, especially after got the gm stg 1. I would get alot of turbo flutter and limp mode. Putting the forge in seemed to help with that. Holds boost same, opens same, but closes a bit longer. I have a K&N SRI and when letting off the gas its a longer "pppsssshhhh" (best way to describe it haha) than with the stock bpv.

Not sure how common it is, but i have heard some people having problems with their charge piping cracking down by the intercooler. Maybe check for that. Good luck with it tho

Ok sounds good, thanks man! Ill take at a look at that. It still has bumper to bumper (til at least march) so if it has something like that I could likely just get it fixed under warranty.

Nothing wrong with an RPD, beats having a pillar full of gauges. Will admit they could have made it better quality, the plastic looks cheap but still i love mine

So you figure it's a worthy upgrade? I'm experiencing the flutter issues which I'm sure us either atributed to gms1 and the k&n. Or one of a few other variables (loose or faulty waste gate) (lower sensor rubbing on the ax line)
Did it nullify your flutter issue? I feel as though my bpv closes too slowly causing the flutter issue.... Intrested.

It a black lowrise, but on one of sides where it was bolted down is kinda effed. I either heated it up to much or not enough when i was removing it and one the plastic around the bolt broke off. its still inside the wing rattling around haha with a little patience you could prob get it out.

And for the tune I looking at maybe march or april, probably best to do it when it is warmer out? what you think?

I think its a good upgrade ya. It didn't completely resolve flutter but id say reduced it by 80% for sure. Seemed to me I would get the worst flutter during really humid days, but that could just be mine. But (knock on wood) since I put in my downpipe I have had ZERO flutter and limp mode. I think i only paid around 150 for it from modern performance but that was when our dollar was doing better. If you do go with it make sure you put it in the right way haha i put it in upside down so when it opened it didn't relieve any pressure...... car didnt like that very much
