... come to think of it, it's probably the fact that you don't have limo-tint on the side glass that makes me like it more than most.

I really hope these tires I'm rolling on are good enough to make the trip this week...

I can't afford local sourced tires, and need to order from Tire Rack... and the quoted shipping time I got yesterday puts tires arriving here AFTER i get back home from my Winnipeg trip.

1)tinted coupe tail lights including third brake light. The reverse light is still clear on them. Not a super dark tint. I can send pics via email or text with my username and what not but I can't post them on here from my phone. Make me an offer. Untinted tails usually go for about 100 and I paid 100$ to tint them. Third brake lights are usually 30-40$ and that's untinted. I can install them for you which can be worked out. Make me an offer... Reasonable offer Jordan.

2)3" turbo XS catback exhaust for the LNF (SS turbo) it can be modified to fit all models (replacement flange for downpipe). This is one of the best sounding exhausts for the SS IMO. its not super loud but has a really nice deap note to it. Doesn't get loud till you boost hard.
It cost almost 700$ shipped to Canada and has Only 3-5k on it. It looks emaculate and has not seen a winter. all installation hardware comes with it and is a bolt on set up so no welding.
475obo.

I have a set of ContiSport Conatacs (OEM BWM 3 series iirc; two pairs of front tires; 225/45/18);
One of the two best ones was recently repaired having had a piece of metal in it;
Upon receipt of the tire, I moved it, and it's matching tire to the front, and found that there was something off about the balance;
long story short, the tire is coming apart.
Well crap.
So I have my original (best two remaining) ContiSportContact2's currently on the front - but between the tires I just put on the back, and the CSC2's, I don't want to chance anything and take worn (read wear indicators exposed, or pretty freaking close) tires on a 2600km round trip...

Nope, nothing ordered yet.

Kinda trying to maintain some sort of a budget...

To make matters worse, one of the rear tires even picked up something last night... and I'm not paying $35 to repair a tire that has a questionable amount of life left in it...

ugg.

so the sole remaining good CSC is now on the back, but last night I think I found my (lowest cost) solution;
Mounted my replacement winters on the winter rims - going to roll on those for a little... just going to do my best to behave on them.

That seems like a good solution. I could fix that tire for you when you come to Winnipeg if you would like.
What day Are you in town?
That's allot of tire bullshit. But Dustin is right about Discount tire. Shipping free makes up for the price difference and boarder taxes.

thanks for the offer, but I doubt it's worth fixing.

I have looked into discount tire just this evening - I probably will buy from them (thanks for the tip Dustin!)
looking at getting a set of Continental ExtremeContact DWS 225-40-18;

$7 more than Tire Rack

EDIT:

$160 Tariff fee??

Sheesh, might as well pick them up, and drive them over the border myself;
6 hours round trip to & from he border is a whole lot cheaper than dealing with a broker, or some BS fees.

At the Border Storage

^^that's where I've been shipping to of late.

Home - Discount Tire Direct
$151x4+Shipping
= $604 + $0(UPS ground)
= $604

https://www.tirerack.com
$144x4+shipping
= $576 + $74.10(UPS ground)
= $650.10

One difference that I noticed is that Discounttiredirect is trying to sell me $76 worth of tire warranty;
but Tirerack seems to be showing the tire's warranty, and seems to read as though it's included.

Does anyone have thoughts on this?

I'll likely be putting this on plastic right after my Winnipeg trip because I'm too poor to dip into any savings

Discount Tire Direct - Certificate for Refund or Replacement

then Tire Rack's info;

Treadlife Warranty: 6 Years / 50,000 miles
Uniformity Warranty: 1 Year / first 2/32" of wear (1)
Workmanship & Materials Warranty: 6 Years (1) / Free replacement first year or 2/32" of wear, then prorated until 2/32" remaining depth
Manufacturer's Road Hazard Warranty: 1 Year / first 2/32" of wear (1)
Manufacturer Special Warranty: 60-Day Customer Satisfaction Trial (2)
Additional Information: (1) Puncture repair voids tire/treadwear warranty(2) Exchange for another Continental brand tire
Overall Tire Warranty Rating*: Warranty Rating 5 of 5 stars

I would pay the $160 then to drive 6 hours to pick up tires myself. You will still end up paying something at the border plus your gas and time.
