I dont even think you can properly insure an 06 here! at least a couple years ago you couldnt. unless it is a rebuilt "project car" or A conversion from a base lancer. Anyone know?

That polished valve cover, do you have a pic of it back on the engine?
Nope not on yet. Gonna wait til spring to put it on. Just picked it up Friday and upon closer look it needs a bit more work in the corners and tight spots.

My buddy paid about 26k and it had 60k on it. They are fun ass cars quick. Tons of torque. His puLola hard and it's stock. I asked him and he said the waverly on is way expensive. 06 EVO 9 in decent shape should be abou $20000. us dollars

Works for meeee. I don't even get why people buy right hand drive cars. Autopac is getting harder and harder on them. My buddy has a mid 90s skyline and it has been off he road for 2 years because he got caught through one of the inspections and they basiclly threw the book at him saying a crap load of stuff needed to be done before he could put it back on the road. I believe the last thing he needs is dot headlights and can't find a set that works.

I don't get autopac rules. They are so rediculous, I get the pollution ones, but other than that if someone wants a vehicle they should be able to get it.

Works for me now too.
Autopac consentrates in the most ridiculous stuff yet hundreds of cars are rolling around completely unsafe without breaks and lights...

You want to add lights to yor car and suddenly your in the wrong because you can be more easily seen

Ok, you inspired me to do the same, hope you dont mind me copying lol

Im gonna take it off, sand it down with 400g and get a guy at work here to do the polishing. Im not much into making the car "look nice" aside from stock, but the valve cover is pretty sweet.

I would start off with a lot rougher than 400 to get it smooth if I were you. Otherwise you will be there a long time and go through sandpaper like mad. Start super rough and work your way down to wet sanding.
