Fair enough. tread life is a big deal. The poor treadlife of the contis are not made up for with traction is my biggest beef with them. (unless your running Radials second will be slip city haha) were you slipping in third? are you tuned?

I got a sweet deal on some Falcons and so far so good.

Waited all day and got only 1 run in, and I was trying to NLS every gear, well big surprise I missed second
think the run was like 16.xx at 100+

Eliminator RC picked it up! And apparently is spending some cash on the track and getting better machines for clean up. Your best friend for sub 13.5 is drag radials or slicks. Especially in Gimli haha.

 

Well I HOPE thats true.
Yeah their clean up time is pretty shitty, theres like an hour of downtime when someone spills

Well this is what my buddy Chris tells me that works at Motion. And he knows EVERYONE around here when it comes to drag racing. Thats what he told me last week when we went out for lunch. Apparently Eliminator RC has super deep pockets. And some pretty fast cars. (full size cars) lol.

 

Its suprising that they would buy it! but i like improvements!
Hopefully they rekindle the Friday night under the lights! im sure it could only make them money...

 

Well they are drag racers themselfs and have money so it's a win win haha. Ya Friday nights would be nice to come back. My car likes the dense air lol.

Ya i'm excited to have a clutch that sticks. That was a bit of a disappointment last season. I almost want to run the M62 to compare. Comparing my last year's 13.6 run to my 2010 13.6 run I was 3 tenths slower by 330ft because of my clutch. So with a hard launch and a clutch that sticks I think I could run lowww 13's. But I don't think I have the willpower to hold out and not bolt up the TVS the second the snow melts lol.

 

garret what did i run that day when you where there? was that my 114 MPH trap day?

 

Also dustin after looking at the market for SS/TC's in winnipeg and canada it appears they sell anywhere from 15-17.5k. I figure i wont get close to the 18 id want. SO i may end up (actually probably end up) keeping it for at least another year.
