Manitoba SS's 2012 thread
Welcome! One of the easiest and cheapest mods you can do is the airbox mod. Install a high flow air filter and take the bottom of the airbox off. Makes it like a cold air intake. Otherwise I would visit zzperformance and invest in a stage 2 or 3 kit. Best bang for the buck.
Woody, they are 18's. I have a spare SC stock intake with K&N filter if any of that interests you at all. Garret scoop that deal regardless of rubber! Would look so sexy on your car!
Hey Guys - does anyone have Dave's (aka: WPG_SS/SC) email?
Havent' been online much for the past couple days, but saw a thread of his yesterday, which I didn't have time to PM about;
Now today I see his PM box is full...

I am awaiting prices too!
19's are going to eat up some of your track/street racing speeds though...if anything go 17's
bigger wheel size means more rotational mass and more distance to cover then a smaller size...just sayin

im also looking for an aem wideband if someone has one they want to part with

Wagner welcome. I concur going with the ZZP stg 2 or 3 is your best bet, bang for buck wise. I have the stg 3 and love it.
As for the discussion on rotational mass. I recently saw an article in a mag with math figures, long story short. For every lb of rotational mass removed is supposedly equal to near 20 lbs of dead weight. Now is this right. I am not sure alot of debate about it. But at the end of the day losing weight is always a good thing.

Sure I'm from there...
Sure I go there at least once a year...
But I've lived most of my life out here.
Garret those rims are sick.
Troy, I may be interested in the rims and tires, where ill come up with the cash to buy them is beyond me.
Thinking i could probably part with my rims for 400-450, leaving me with 150 for the same rims with more tire lol
