All things said, SRT-4S are actually very reliable. Dick heads beat the ******* **** out of them and give them a bad name.

A group of friends of mine build them, much like we do except they actually build the internals of the motors and such. my friend keegan DD's a 1g neon with 330,000 KM on the motor. Not a single problem with it. He said itll go forever.

Any car can be reliable, it just people not taking care of them or seeing warning signs that give them bad names

He doesnt DD that car, The DD car is just a plain jane Neon. And yes it did, with a blow head gasket 0.o Because the guy he bought it from was a retard when he blueprinted the head.

His new one, Is a 2.4L done stratus motor running a S256 AGP turbo. That thing will make 350+ WHP in a body that weighs 2300 LBS.

I was joking about the neon comment. Same **** when a mustang guy throws out "it's just a cobalt" and then gets destroyed haha.

 

Dodges big issue with the neons, and caravans, and pt cruisers and intrepid. Is they all chew through transmissions faster than you need to change your oil haha.
Doubt the SRT4 was part of that issue though.
