I think we will be luck if we clear 2pages. i may just post 400 random pictures to make it look less sad.

does anyone know what rim/tire package you need to run a winter setup on a T/C?

a link to the rims that clear brembos. im using ss sc 18' and a 5mm spacer just clears. 225/40/18 goodyear ultra grips. you would be best off to go with a 17" rim and a 205/45/17 or a 195/45/17. its not cheap. tire rack has the cheepest tires ive found (locally you will get raped)

i can get parts through work and get a discount, but it really sucks when your winter beater craps out and you don't want to gamble on it

I dont know what the going price on brand new ss sc/na rims are from Gm but even discounted ill bet theres a cheaper solution. you may be able to find a rim/tire combo off a website that is aftermarket and may clear the brembos without spacing them. No matter what its never chep for our cars. check the classifieds on this website i got my 18 shipped for a descent price shipped. i only went with 18s because i already had crazy expensive tires from last year. i would try for 17s if i were you. more tread better for snow and ice and also cheeper

Just to keep this thread going, saw a red(not sport tint coat) SS/TC on bishop tonight looked nice (I haven't seen one since summer lol) Still running the stock rims, hopefully with some sort of all season/winter tire lol.

i was shocked to learn that many ss and ss/sc/tc owners use the stock tires all winter, all the while complaining about how bad these cars are in winter.........

summer tires, wow.
