Canada New Manitoba SS Owner

Hi All,
Just bought myself a 2007 Cobalt SS Supercharged (Yellow) last week and freaking love it. Soon I may want to get into it a bit (not much as it is nicely loaded.) My question is and it will (does) sound stupid but where is the air filter I can't seem to find it. Also any suggestions on how to squeeze a few more ponies out of it.

if the first part of that was directed to me;
I got mine below KBB value, and it was a brand new car (nearly 30% off)

I was the first person to drive my car!

air filter is in the driver side fender in front of the wheel. To get to it is kinda a pain but you need to remove a panel underneath the bumper cover and unscrew the bottom of the intake box. I wish that I took pictures when I changed mine. Also, if you are changing that filter, I would suggest changing your cabin filter as well. It is behind the glove box and it pretty straight forward to change. I did mine at the same time to be done with it.

Also congrats on the car. I hope you have fun with it and drive safe!

Hey!

Congrats on the car! These cars are amazing speed and performance for the price. Bravo to GM for making an affordable yet Performance driven vehicle.

I got my 2006 SS/SC (also yellow) lol and i love it. I paid 13,000 from GM dealer and it only had 47000 K's on it!!!!! the car is mint inside and out. My experience with my dealer for service has been very poor and they dont seem to care for there customers whatsoever but that could just be that location.

All in all, great car, fast, fun and looks good. So have fun!!!! Summer just around the corner!!!!! Keep an eye out for the door locking mechanism and watch for peeling paint on the inside of the car ie. door handles and stuff.

Used to be better about 2 years back. A couple of us old regulars still get together for wings on occasion, but for the most part the scene died (growing out of it, moving on to new cars....etc....)
