I'm game

 

The idea of having a show n' shine barbeque at TAG is great. Its a central location for Ontario, 4 hours from each direction (there are cobalts in Windsor too).

Another good option would be a huge beach/barbeque deal. Perhaps a large park around TO or Niagara area (Firemans Park - Rhys you know what I'm talking about). Could do a little show, fire up some barbeque, cook some meat and enjoy a great day. I've done a dyno deal before with a club I was part of and it worked out great. Just tossing out another idea.

Could even do a day at Shannonville and see what everyone's car can do on a circuit track.

 

Alright, sry ive been in BC for a week and a bit and havent posted anything....The reason i wanted to do this in Ottawa was firstly because well i live in Ottawa, secondly because i know dealers who are interested in helping putting on a GM car show, not just an ss.net get together...larger scale, including competitions and what not...thirdly, if you guys want to organize something than sweet..go for it...its just that we need some1 to take the initiative...me and P7X planned last years small event but only had a month to do it...if one of you or some of you would like to do this and a show to somewhat same scale or level than ya go for it becuase i understand that most people are from Toronto...just that Ottawa is well not very fair for teh GTA but is close to MTL and the border...anyway...let me know waht you want to do

 

Mike, im down for that, i see no reason why we couldn't do multiple events this summer. If we kicked off the spring in march some time with a TAG BBQ dyno day, possible a show and shine, that would be awesome.

Noleaf, I think TAG would be a good PR event. Hope that day brings together the GTA, niagra area loondon and possibly windsor cobalts. I will most likely be going and could possible make up flyers to pass around for the big meet. I think you had mention you wanted to do something later in the summer.? No? This way we can get the word out. I will be attending many car shows this summer, as many as I can, and speading the word. If you can figure out an exact date and place. We can start spreading the word in march and im sure that ppl will be interested, INCLUDING all the GTA boys and not just cobalts either. Like you said a GM event would be awesome.

Hey ppl...sry ive been off the boards for a bit..school and what not...but hopefully you guys are still interested and down for coming to Ottawa...remember its going to be early august

 

ill be helping out with setting up something in T.O at Tag.
if i dont see any out of towners there, i wont be goin out of town for a meet, just how its gonna go with me and most of the GTA members.

 

When is this TAG bbq meet scheduled for?

TAG and steeda arent the same place are they? just cuz i know distillion got a sick tune so im not sure which place it was

 

thats was at tag he got sick tune , and steeda **** them he was making distillion car run lean

 

does TAG install parts too, i wanna get some stuff done but i dont want to drive from montreal running lean? would be good to get it all done there and tuned
