can anyone tell me where i can get the gm stage 2 kit brand new at a reasonable price? i've been looking around online and the prices are all over the board. something i'm looking at doing over the winter and want to get the best price around . thanks

Keep an eye on ebay.
Once in a while you luck up.
Got mine from ebay for 300 and someone else said they got thiers for 250.

The other stores sell them anywhere from 550 to 900.
Crate eninge depot sells them for 550.
After that install can run anywhere from 180 - 400 depending on dealer. Mine was 232.
Good luck and trust me Stage 2 is worth it.

i was looking at crate engine and cobalt addiction,$550 seemed like alot to me but it looks like the best pricing i can find, i didnt like the fact on cobalt addiction that i needed to send my computer in for flashing,i've got 15,000 km's on my car and that will null and void my warranty lol.it's got full warranty to the **** and dont really want to kill that just yet

okay last question , do i need to go stage 1 first or can i just go straight to stage 2 ?

 

straight to stage II. stage I is just the injectors and stage one flash I believe. stage II is injectors, pulley, belt and flash.

i work out at pointewest autopark and orion quoted me like 850 installed at my employee rate.i'll just get it myself ,install , it and get the flash done lol . i think retail is around a grand ?

I might be interested in selling my stage 2 kit, its brand new and never been used, it will come with nates 2.85" pulley that bolts onto the stage 2 hub.

For the kit and pulley I paid $750, it even comes with new stainless steel bolts for the pulley, I would have to have $650 for it.

 

hrm... warranty vs. smaller pulley, installation and reflash for less....

it doesnt sound like a hard desicion but i kinda need warranty for a little lol
