hey guys, im from winnipeg and just picked up a 2008 cobalt ss turbo. so i have a question for all of you in manitoba. What is your gas mileage like in the winter? im averaging 14.9/100km. which is 16.2 mpg. Is everyone getting mileage like this in the winter? I just did a oil change and threw in mobil 1 5w30 fully synthetic. just wondering if this is average mileage in our cold winters. i can see the gas gauge move lol.

As for your gas mileage problem it definitely will be worse in the winter but not that bad. City driving makes it worse also. But some of the TC guys can chime in I bet.
