looks like a lot of rain and some light snow for one day, we have a few days over 10, its still march and april is hit or miss, stop crying LOL
i cant reach out tonight, i gotta mess around with the gauges more with darryl, the gauges are loosing power when driving every so often so we are gonna mess with that.

 

That sucks Mike, hopefully you and Darryl can get them fixed. Are you still having spark plug troubles?

 

i got new plugs in yesterday, so far so good, i gotta do a wot run to see if everythings cool.

Guages losing power Mike? That's odd, she gets power from the ODBII connection, so perhaps yer battery is fubbard ... just off the top of my head. Can't really see how they could be busted or the power fluctuations are caused by the guages themselves.

 

No they don't get power from the OBD2 they have a seperate power line but its figured out apperently Cobalts have a **** power system and all Aeroforce gauges do that in Cobalts.
I think it needs a capacitor to hold the power stream steady cause it fluctuates too much!

Hey guys, I was wondering how much more HP/TQ a Stage 2, extruded manifold and performance exhaust would give (also where the best place is to get this parts and install in this neck of the woods). I was planning on getting these done in the near future. Any help would be appreciated. As you can see I'm a noob at all this stuff.

so we take my car to Canadian Tire and do another compression test and BANG, there's compression in all cylinders!!

So why's the car running crappy?? well it seems that when the dip stick poped out the intake manifold gasket went but it progressively got worse and now there's oil getting into the #4 cylinder.

So I didn't blow up my engine

It was all GM's fault!!!

BTW, the widebands are at my house
