mike's right, car is knocking like a bitch at the top of 2nd and in 3rd at WOT...which also might explain why i didnt get the dyno numbers i was looking for...

who knows...hopefully i can get everything sorted out in one go...i'm hoping to see a solid 30hp gain with what i'm doing...but god knows what i'll actually get lol...

why dont you just tune for the smaller pulley properly then?

im sure there are more ass parts about yer tune and you dot even know it.
geta good tune and see where it takes you.
you got a wideband?

well that was the problem, it was too small, even with reduced timing i was still getting some knock, not enough knock to be dangerous but enough to suck, even on 94. that was the 3.25, i ended up taking it off my car and i'm running a 3.4 now.

with what i got planned i should be able to run the 3.25 again with 0 KR on 91 with more timing. so it will be like 100% better cause even tho its the same sized pulley cause i wont have the reduced timing and the KR pulling even more.

the guy who's tuning my car is one of the only 2 who does it professionally around these parts, he's got years experience, so i doubt the tune is that bad...

i blame myself for getting so gung-ho about the 3.25 pulley when i should have gone with the 3.4 and would have had better results. in the end these guys run a business, and if i was adamant about the smaller pulley, of course he's going to make it work.

that being said, if i still have problems with the tune i'll be going elsewhere next time.
