Wake up call
Well, the C7 cruise was awesome and a great turn out. Thanks for everyone who came out and I'll have the pics and Matt's video's up.
Now regarding my drive back to Hamilton, I was doing 140 on Highway 10 which has a limit of 80kph. I got pulled over with a ticket that doesn't even have an amount cause I have to go to court first.....I just wanted to post here cause this was a wake up call for me as I've been driving seriously reckless ever since I started adding parts/tuning and I guess it got to my head. Hopefully this will stick to others who drive like I WAS.

Sorry to hear about that but thems the brakes I guess, on are spirited(at some points) I was glad to be the last guy so I could just hang back with being pressured to go faster. Until near the end, I took a totally oppisite way home that took me down through Tottenham (spl) and then across to the 400.

^^^^^I remember that.
I wouldn't say u were driving recklessly. Just because ur driving faster than you "should be" to me is not reckless. If you drive a car that can't handle the speed or dont know how to drive and put urself and others in much more risk than you should be, thats reckless.
Tons of ppl get speeding tickets its the battle of when and where you should speed. Good luck in court mase , you too john

i was doing 140 mph yesterday with a viper...luckily didnt get caught but i felt completely safe, this car handles so smooth.I wouldnt count it reckless at all...now as for that car i saw weaving in and out of traffic so hard that he was fishtailing...now THATS reckless.

**** good luck, hope it works out alrite in the long run. I've been really having to watch my foot on my trips to the GTA and back lately 'cause the closer I get to London the further down my foot goes. Coming back from Oakville on the 403 one night I looked down and it read about 155...I slowed down and just in time cause a couple bends in the road later (just before the 401 merge) there was an OPP sitting under the overpass hiding out in the pitch dark. I'm surprised even how well my LS holds at higher speeds...hell my Cavy woulda been rockin around like it was hydroplaning but I probably still shouldn't be goin' that fast.

well at least the cop said he'll take it easy on me in court if I have a clean record, which I do.
Let's set the fuel cut off to 120kph with the new mods.

Good luck brother...I hate to hear about **** like this. In my 19 years of driving, I have never experienced so many pigs on our roads and highways like I have in the past 12 months...it is really sickening
