I raced him that race in what was probably the most epic race ever! I got the sweet start on him (check out my 0.076 reaction time!!!) and I thought I had him. But he just kept on slowly pulling on me and he barely edged ahead by the finish line. As you can see he only won by 0.1227 of a second!

 

Thanks for posting my time Rob. That was really a tight race. Now all you need is header and downpipe and you will have me. :-)

 

nicely done drik any luck with your wideband sensor?
im sure we could probably find a tad more power if i could get more reliable readings

 

I just got back from a family vacation, so I will get on it this week. I wonder if we can break into the 13.5s with what i have now. My trap speed is promissing, but then it just shows that I need to go to drag radials or slicks. Azennis are having a tough time hanging on. I had to be careful through 1st and an easy shift into second gradual to WOT. :-) makes it a bit harder to hit the sweet spot now than when I had less power. Thanks again for the tune steve!!

What will the 2.4 turbo's fall under? New class? lol

 

you would think. either that or they would just fall under the turbo catagory

 

I think we will stay posted in the 2.4 section, jsut add we were turbo after the time.

They will go in the turbo section. It is for ANY ECOTEC that is turbo charged. Same thing with the 2.2 2.4s that are sc'ed

the slip on the left is run 2. you can plainly tell i blew up just after the 1/8th. rolled across with a

the first run was 13.387@107.93 both 60 footers sucked. first run was underpowerred to check my setup at the track, second was pouring the coal to it. damn cast pistonies.

 

oh so close!!!!

 

last run was 5 mph faster half track. it smelled of victory for a split second, til it smelled of oil. lolz.
