I suggest going to Stratotech Raceway and we do some auto-x.

 

auto-x would be fun. I hope we will do a little more socializing, most people were gone by 6 or 7 this year.

I liked the idea of the show and shine (that was lacking in the first year) and would like to drag. Auto-X would be neat for people interested in that. By the way it is an f-ing long time away.

it is a long time way but if everyone likes the idea of auto-x at the stratotech racway you have to book way in advance...im signing up for my Advance Riders Course Level 1 + 2 and then my Racing Classes for bikes in a few weeks. They already have the schedule out for 2010 and its going to be busy as hell.

Hey, i bet my SRX might be able to pull off a better auto X time then your Cobalt! Wouldn't THAT be something!

 

possibly... I dont have a whole lot of autocross experience.

 

but i came up with the idea of auto-x, can please come with my 370z....plllllleeeeassssseee ...lol

 

lol, neither do i, unless evasive maneuvers count! lol

The Haldex AWD and electronic rear LSD should help me out, even if the 3.0L DI is a little on the small side!

 

I'll make some phone calls in the next day or two and see how much this will cost and whatnot. I'm looking at the stratotechraceway site and theres already bike races during the week for every month, a few weekends are book for car clubs and other weekends for go carts. Meet still going to be in Sept? was that good for everyone?

 

August would be better for me then I don't have school since I'm coming from Lethbridge.

So far only things that are booked in Aug is races for bikes which is every Wed (looks like ill be busy racing during the week..lol)

Auto-x sounds like a blast, last time I tried one was about 25 years ago, in a Mazda RX-3 wagon

Get a few hot laps, err, umm, "Track Inspections" at Race City before (sometimes after) the bike races - damn place is getting rougher every week

that looks like an awesome track. i've never been auto-x but should be fun to do. keep us all updated whoever it is that will be coordinating things this year.
