Not everyone has a tent or has the time to stay overnight.

And agreeing with an0m.......it would make it a lot farther for the sask people.

We really have to keep this around Central Alberta.

 

i think some of them already said that they don't mind the drive as long as were not going to some flat part of alberta with rolling plains and pot holes

 

I go on spur of the moment roadtrips to Calgary every other month. if its within 10 hours, ill drive it.

P.S. I use to live in Golden and drive to and from there all the time.

 

were talkin like 4hrs plus further than drum...

 

so it can be done in about 8!!

 

Why not goto Bragg Creek or something. I go quading all the time out that way and love the scenery.

Clearing things up a bit:

I am not saying we have to stay in Drumheller overnight. I just figured it would be a good place for everyone to meet up and get some unique pictures. We can always go to the Museum as well and check out the dinosaurs.

But if after the pics people want to head back to Red Deer and make a night of it, then have at it boys and girls! I personally will be heading back to Calgary after Drumheller.

Yeah true......just if we stay in the park you get raped on park fees and camping fees or a hotel. My weekend trip with the g/f last October cost me close to a $1000.

But the pics are badass.

 

thats a good idea, I like it. he has been pushing for it for a long time now. we want a big meet lets do this. its a drive yes, but a good drive.

the cost fo the parks is not that expensive, and as for overnight, bring a damn tent or sleep in your car. jeez, you dont need hotels. i have a spare tent i could lend out, actaully 2 if i can dig up my parents tent. im sure if we all get together on this idea we can make it happen and keep it decently low budget
