bigrroberto's needs install help

well I dont really, but its always fun to get together with the boys and work on cars.

ok so I've got a bunch of stuff that needs to be installed.

3 pod gauge kit
aem wideband
2.8
60lbinjectors
spark plugs
injen cold air intake

I think that's it.

Neo1 is gonna tune the car. I was gonna come to Calgary one weekend and we were gonna go it all there, install and tune, but I guess its hard to find soemone to install the pulley there. So I talked to my friend that has a mechanic shop and he's gonna use his hydraulic press to remove/install my new pulley.

Unfortunately the sc has to come off for that so if anyone wants to come help you'll have to come to Red Deer

Umm that's all for now. I'll know a little more later as far as dates are concerned cause I need to go make room in my dad's garage for my car as he has enough tools for the job.

you dont need to remover the charger to get the pulley off! just make sure you can loosen the 4 bolts holding the pulley on, that is usually the toughest part as some dealerships when they install stage 2 they will use locktite, making it virtually impossible to get the bolts out....

im sure us here in calgary can help you with everything, i got experience doing it all except the injectors....but i know someone here can do injectors.....

injectors are easy to do, there's really nothing to it. The only thing I can sudjest is if you do the injectors wait for the system to depressurize before you undo the fuel line. If you don't be prepared to be wearing and smelling gas all day.

I would recommend talking the S/C off to get the pulley off. The Stage II belt is a pain in the A** to get around the pulley when you are done. Trust me....I know all too well.

I had Spaz (Chris) do it for me. But I did some work on the S/C and had to take it off. That Stage II belt is a pain to get back on. It took two of us awhile to get it back on. And once we did I noticed that the belt was off the crank pulley by one rib, so we had to take it off again and then put it back on. UGH I hate that belt.

me and allan(tREBs) both did our own pulleys (larry (kaiso) helped me with mine tho) and it took about 10 mins each, the hardest part honestly was getting the 4 bolts out. if you use the tensioner correctly it takes all the slack off the belt and its easy as pie. dont pay anyone to do it for you.

edit: you dont have stage 2, making it a little harder hhah, my expereince was taking the stage 2 pulley of and puttin on a 2.9

Yeah if he is changing to the Stage II pulley from the stock pulley he is going to need a press.

When u do the injectors, it is recommended to pull the fuel pump fuse, and start the car til it stumbles and stalls. That seems to get the most amount of fuel out of the rail. Alternatively, you can push in the little pressure valve thats on the feed line going to the fuel rail, but then you wind up with a face full of gas.
