Lethbridge police = srs bsns. Can't wait to get to SAIT, I don't ever plan on setting foot in this city again. Yay for cracking the $2,000 barrier in fines this year.

Merry Christmas, yyc crew!

I could pick out cars that I figured i was in direct competition with, and see how I fared (keep in mind this was for the couple years where I took my GA stock or otherwise to the track);
many of them I lost - but some I was flabbergasted at how poor the other car ran...
then there's the few who (after the select upgrades) I was able to beat - which I presumed were one or more classes ahead of me...

in all, I really had fun at race city - even on knights were I went home without a single "win"

Race City Will be missed.

I would think that having a IA guy harass a cop for someone would in turn make things worse. He would probably treat everyone he stopped worse than before. It's just a guess but atleast you offered to help! lol

IMHO - that's the best one you can get;
you don't have to pay extras for additional bungs...

I like MPx ~ other than the fact that they don't make/carry too much, they are my first choice for anything.

aftermarket catbacks have been proven to do little to nothing on SS/TC's...
if I do get one - it will be theirs though...
I was thinking of getting it last year untill I did more research....
catbacks pretty much are for different sound...

to the best of my knowledge at this time these are the best upgrades;
1) tune
2) downpipe
3) chargepipes/intercooler

after that the best mechanical upgrades seem to be;
valve springs
turbo swap (the pending ZZP one is my bet)
upgraded cams

but this is just my opinion...

where are you buying from?

Rockauto.com has the delco's at $30 ~ I'd wager a guess that jobbers are $50 a pop at autovalue...

moog is good - but nothing to get bent out of shape to get;
I'd buy what ever is hte best balence of price & quality from either Autovalue, or NAPA (generally NAPA carries better lines though ~ and in Canada, NAPA almost exclusively caters to shops)

deals with schools are a bit different...

AV can get much better prices, but often the parts are knock offs - and the best quality parts can be had at NAPA...
I learnt this while being employed in the industry - in a small private shop...
I think Grand Prix carries much of the same stuff that NAPA does...
The shop I worked for ordered roughly 35% from AV, 40% from GP, and 20% from NAPA... depended on the job - and the brand for the job..

nite! *waves*

Ya she already purchased it and got it shipped but it just hasn't arrived yet. It's their catted downpipe. Does it come with additional bungs but just plugged off?

Now to get GMS1 for the summer...

Generally AV will carry at least two lines of brake components - one is better, but more expensive ~ and nine times out of ten, people just want the cheap stuff.
For a long time OE GM brake parts were re-boxed Raybestos 'red line' parts;
Raybestos used to offer two lines;
red line - premium line, pad backings were red
blue line - lower line, pad backings were blue

I know you used to be able to get Raybestos at AV...

I think the red line has been discontinued...

it comes with two additional O2 bungs (so three in total), as well as a bung for an AFR....

I'd only recommend GMS1 if you're worried about maintaining warranty - and even then the Trifecta can be hidden;
I believe the dealer I'm going to (Jack Carter) looks for a hidden tune every time I'm in - because every time I pick up my car my cruise button is engaged...
Little do they realize that Trifecta tunes can be full time, or activated by traction control or cruise buttons (not that I have it)... or that a tune can be installed on a second computer all together...
HPT = always will be seen on the Tech2 scanner
Trifecta = can always be hidden

@ Jordan;
also cheap rotors have lower quality steel - and warp ALOT faster.
