Mark - everyone is invited to all our events, we're only exclusive, in keeping the group "closed" till you join...

I know you personally (unless something has changed) don't have a FB profile, but why not find the group, and ask ask to join through Ella's profile? - if you did you would remain 100% in the loop, and you can simply lurk if you so choose (truthfully we have a pretty good ratio of 'lurker's even in that group.

I couldn't go for a couple reasons... just an FYI.

I really liked when Me, Steve, Jon & Kass went;
I especially liked that we were not obligated to drive home @ 11pm...

And that I didn't have any experience akin to this;

I made it "closed" so that you would have to physically join to be in the loop, and to ward off the local trouble makers from lousing things up....

relax guys, i was mainly being sarcastic, however i also made a minor point.... as you all know i refuse to join fb.... and honestly ella doesnt even use her acct unless its to chat with family.... but yes us guys who dont follow to gmtoc dont know of any of your events.... hmmmmm maybe in the best interest of simple friendships this can be rectified..... i know that issues are still unresolved with people in 2 groups, however i am sure all parties involved would put diff aside to smell tires burn and exhaust fumes.... as we all like to rip up the track..... and still there are certain parties who have washed thier hands of everyone, who have some serious cars..... the biggest reason i have started to post in cal thread again is to get this bunch of people to at least be respectful to each other.... i am personally sick of the bs...... look its simple my door has always been open to everyone and i wont close it.....

I agree 100% with the sentiment of your post.

I have long since thought that we might all be able to put differences aside - and I'd love to be back there, but it has been revealed to me over the past couple years that this is a really a pipe-dream;
We will always see conflict.
All we can do is be assertive to the point of trying to get along with each other, and not make ultimatums or assertions that will make others choose sides.

Our group does not require any specific car ownership, it only requires that you like cars as described in our "tuner" description (which is ALOT broader than just late model boosted deltas!)

To coin a term I've recycled, we're the "Rodney Dangerfield's" of the enthusiasts crowds...

I realize I won't get along with everyone - but that doesn't mean I don't try my best to humor each person's individual character, and respect that we won't always sync up...

If I offered you some timmy's would that be enough to coax you into joining the group?

... and yes that's my first bribe offered to anyone to join our group.

my weekends are usually pretty busy but i will definitely keep that in mind. and i should be getting them this weekend as long as i can go and grab my toolbox this weekend.

 

hmmmmmmm well isnt that a crazy idea...... we can do a timmies or simply hangout.... but as far as the group is concerned i wont join..... nothing to do with you or anyone else in the group.... all based on my stance with facebook...... you all know me to be pigheaded and stubborn.... and i absolutely refuse to join facebook.... so i will pm you when i get back from grabbing lunch and see what your plans are this weekend.....
