hahahaha smartbusa, that made my day. but you know what else i have come to notice. the only people that actually drive properly are the overly safe drivers and the true car enthusiast. everyone else just kinda drives like an idiot, riding peoples bumpers, not signalling, not paying attention to road signs, etc. just thought i would spread my observations.

 

agreed.... safe drivers... well thats self explanitory, but the car enthusiasts put so much $$ in there cars they dont wanna wreck em! this city has horrible drivers!!

 

ya and i emphasize true car enthusiasts. not the stupid punks who put pointless crap on their car, and just because you are part of a car club does not make you an enthusiast.

 

SO! uh you guys will never guess what!

i was peacefully napping and i get a phone call from my buddy... "dude, your car is sitting outside shadow tint.. with no hood.... and its pouring!"
well hell that caught my attention... i sprang outta bed and headed straight to shadow tint... sure enough, its my car, freshly moved inside one of the bays... i request to see it and sure enough the air filter is SOAKED! i mean drenched... and those genious's turned it on!!
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
so im praying no water got in...

and i now have a few interesting questions to bring up with A1 in the morning
1) why the **** was my car being driven with no hood on! (i looked at it last friday and it had a hood...)
2) why was it left outside in the POURING RAIN wit no hood...
and im sure i will think of a few more...


needless to say im pretty pissed...

I would hazard a guess that even though the idiot started the car with the filter wet and drove it into the shop that no water actually got into the engine. The car was probabley at idle speed when move therefore there would not have been enough suction to move water up the CAI.

Now on the other hand I would be bitchin to the shop that let the car roll out without the hood with the kind of weather we've been having. I would also bring it to thier attention on what has transpired so that if anything goes wrong they know you will be coming back.
