Ya only reason I ask is if your putting in a 90* bend to split the exhaust after the axle then your gonna lose some HP but I'm sure you already know this so I'm just talking for the sake of talking now lol

bends will often but not always add a restriction to the exhaust;
the most common "wrinkle" bends do add restriction (and create resonation)- becasue they create a section of pipe that is not only smaller diameter, but also impedes flow becasue of the 'wrinkles'...

At the end of the day I know my exhaust will be able to outflow the needs of my engine (which is in large part due to how noisy it was) - so I'm not worried one iota.

this is what I'm using to create the "split";

ya i was more referring to if you were doing a 90* bend after the axle or not as that will add alot of restriction. using a 2 part bend starting with a 45* would allow for the proper location and reduce the restriction in air flow.

any bends are made with parts like these;

*proper location* is wholly dependant on where things need to be, and space constraints...

ya that pipe would work great, most people don't realize that the tighter the bend the more restriction but you can create the same bends with pipes like those with gradual bends that perform the same function without the restriction. should turn out and sound great when your done jon

sounds like your car is overdue for some real TLC... and not just cleaning...

as a rule of thumb, the hardest driving on a car is commuting or city driving - -highway driving is a breeze.

Does not fempute.

Why not do something that will keep you busy, be outside for the summer and pay's well. I frame (not for life, but have been too long ) and there are lots of companies that look for labourers/people who are inexperienced. You'll learn a valuable skill, get paid, build some muscle and get a great farmers tan .

Pretty sure this sale will fall through. Was looking great until she brought her whole family to see it. It's pretty much her parents calling this and I'm TOAST once they see the history. Not sure how the hell I'm supposed to sell this car for anything less than 5 bucks.

And whoops, forgot to take my CSS decals off... if you're reading this, hello!
