It had a high rise which Adrian removed, the dealers at Kia put the sedan high rise on it, along with a stock clutch now and a pretty cool CF hood. Kia I think is asking 10,500 now. It's going to be a hard sell for them with the performance badging and CF hood haha. I do like the spoiler.

I think the Adrian bought that off of TeJay.

iirc it actually bounced around calgary for a while;
Kris had it - bought it used but never installed(?), then wrote off his car - having only put it on his car for one night, then took it off to be installed at a later date iirc;
TeJay bought it off Kris, then de-modded his car and sold it...

 

^^^^ the hood was installed but at the time of the accident he had it tookin off.... ^^^^ also i believe kris got it from another guy in the area.... one who doesnt post much at all.... i dont ever recall seeing him....

Is it just me or is it a bit odd that in the photos it has a all silver interior plus the SS badge? 2009? I thought 2008 was the last year for that..

the SS badge above the glovebox was phased out during the 2009 model year - my car didn't have it, but hte white car did.

the black hvac & radio are specific to 2010 Cobalts only.

 

Ah ok, funny that GM would make them black for just one year.. Oh well.

Also weird that my drivers seat doesn't have that tag on it.

the 2010 Cobalts were not supposed to exist;
2009 was slated as the final year until just before the onset of the 2010 model year;
At which time GM said that the Cobalt was going to be carried over because they were not going to be able to make the Cruize yet (due to their financial woes during the 2008/2009 model years)...

You seat doesn't have the tag? - That is weird...

Maybe your car was built while 'The Performance Divisions' was dissolved??

there was initially speculation that he Cobalt SS wasn't goingto be available, then the specifics of the 2010 Cobalts were announced - along wit hthe SS still being there;
but it was either implied or outright stated that it wasn't intended to be a full model year run...
the "order by" date for 2010 SS's seemed to continually creep back... until GMtunersource cited the last dates...

I believe the black HVAC and radios were not actually Cobalt units to begin with - I think that Pontiac used them in the G5 & Solstice;
I felt the they looked out of place with all the surrounding silver trim.

 

how much would your parents kill you for just talking to the dealer about trading your car against that yellow one that Mark vinyl'd the other week?

I talked with this guy at the church show & shine - nice guy... but was trying to sell his car back then too.

 

they wouldnt do anything if i was just talking to the dealer. they would cut my head off for actually selling it

 

Yep no tag on the seat, but I do have the badge under the hood.
I liked the black radio and HVAC I just wish the center between the two was black aswell. Oh well, all resolved now with vinyl.

 

^^I've been told that seeing it in person is much better too...

Once I saw what Mark was doing I didn't understand why anyone would paint.

 

Probably won't be until the new year unless I get my crap together and secure a job in Calgary.

 

i would only paint where i have to now. like calipers.

i hated that french sticker on the passenger door...
It was gone as soon as it got warm out (bought mine at the end of February)...

I also added the "missing" SS badge above the glovebox...

I still am seriously debating on buying the HHR-SS airbag.

 

Yeah I want to buy the HHR-SS airbag but I need to find one first.

 

you know the average retail is $450+ right?
