Calgary - random talk thread
ditto, only I'm not going to hold me breath.
crappy thing is that I just (earlier this morning) talked to my (regular) service advisor ~ and it sounds like this is 100% completely random, and unrelated to the past problem...

I have to assume this is directed to me;
I have a mini torch/soldering iron combination;
I bought it at an electricians supply store;
here
Google Maps
i think that's the building/door ~ google maps seems to be a bit off on the labels for the street map bit...
this is also where I bought resistors to do my RPD trick...
ANYTHING electrical related, they have it, or can get it.
I don't think they advertise because they generally cater specifically to electricians.
One of my car buddies told me about them.

something you don't have to worry about
it's an inline switched resistor used to fool the light sensor into thinking it's brighter out than it is;
the autolights we as Canadians have sucks when teamed with the RPD ~ it becomes totally un readable for log periods of time depending on the amount of light, or angle of the sun we're dealing with...
I often have my RPD brightness "Switched on" for days on end...

I missed that;
IIRC = If I Recall Correctly
IMHO = In My Humble Opinion
IMO = In My Opinion
FTW = For The Win
FTMFW = For The Mother F*&@%@g Win
FTL = For The Lose
FTMFL = For The Mother F*&@%@g Lose
I can't immediately think of any other abbreviations I personally use...
can't recall reading that one...
I don't know at least 3/4 of the ones used in the CL personals... I think I even made a rant post once about messages being cryptic becasue I had no clue what some abbreviations meant....
