Thumbs down DAMN Canadian dollar! what a lousy month

Well I've been bitten in the ass once again this month!!! First I suffered a mental illness and was laid up for 2 weeks, oh sure the nurses were gorgeous but eventually I had to leave .

So I get outta the hospital this Monday morning, go tell my employer that I can come back to work asap... WRONG!!! 3 hours later I get a call to come to work they need to talk to me. No worries I'm thinking. Sorry ernie, we have to lay you off due to cut backs etc due to the high fuking loonie.

So here I ponder what bank or old lady to rob lol.. Anyways, war what is it good for??? NOT A ******* THING. Thats what I'm blaming anyways for now. No offense to my friends to the south.

80% of canadian exports have US customers, so when the canadian dollar jumps drastically in comparison to the american dollar, so does the cost of goods from canada for an american buyer, which means they will not buy as much, canadian companies therefore, do not need to produce as much, so they don't need as many workers. The war right now is probably the biggest contibutor to the change of the dollar

Yeah he works at a place that exports a certain thing to the US. Well sold around the world actually. I won't say just in case he doesnt want me to.

On that same topic we Canadians can go buy alot of things in the US way cheaper now! So the tables have turned, so to speak. I doubt this will happen, but the US economy could pick up as far as exports and purchase made to Canada. Interesting topic actually.

Anyways, it SUCKS to hear that Ernie. I do feel bad for you. This type of **** is happening all over around here right now. I sure hope it picks up soon...
