If I remember I'll look up the part number for you. I know we've done a few decks in cobalts and G5's which should be the same harness.

Are you trying to find one for an AAS deck or the base one?

I am not to sure what you mean... But to be more clear I am looking for one that hooks in to the factory harness for an aftermarket deck..

Sorry,

AAS = Advance Audio System. I have a redline but I'm assuming this was also an available option for the cobalt? I know in my 04 there were two different harnesses, one for AAS systems and one for non-AAS. The AAS system adds a seperate amplifier to the system which is located on the underside of the rear deck in the trunk.

Ok I went to visions and I got one... Now to clear things up for others:

If your door chime comes from your dash then you just need the cheap harness, but if you chime comes from your front speaker then you need the $100+ harness..

Also visions off Macloed seemed to have a few instock so if your looking for one I would suggest going there. Plus they have great service

you don't need the 100 dollar harness. So what if you lose door chimes....

Well thats what i didn't get because the sound clearly came from the dash, buddy from visions even came out to see because he said it was rare for a 05 to not have it coming from the speakers.

ya usually you either have to buy the expensive harness or relocate your factory radio... but ya if it is coming from your dash then thats definately a bonus for you
