hmm, i havent talked to james in some time, but last i had his car was in great repair. Personally all i can speak of is there professional service when i was there, and my car running great. The 8 plus months i had the tune i never saw an issue.

as far as i know neal hasnt either, but if james has had issues in the last while then perhaps i should leave it at my personal experience

... as for renting apex, i dont see why, they only have nolan who tunes, and the mustang dyno is in the shop, but i guess its possible.

thats not a normal tune getting those numbers hehe,
thats a winter specific detuned setup, running 87 octane.

saved me a good deal of $$ over the winter though.

You'll have to tune mine this summer too! I'll get a wideband here soon and we'll meet up one afternoon.

I was thinking sometime in the middle of April to meet up with you to do some tuning. How does that sound? Let me know your schedule when it gets closer? I was looking at Firestorms race tune and his winter tune. You have some pretty nice looking tables and additional changes within the tune. I am going to look at them again and take some notes to ask you on why/what the changes made a difference in.

cheers

Oh...Sorry. I thought the last time we talked that March was the month. OK Lets aim for the middle of March then. Would that be a good time to tune or should we wait till after April and for better temps and weather.

well, it wouldnt really be virtual tuning, it would be someone telling me what to do, or giving me tips on how to change things.

its possible to do sam....but it would be very time consuming, and so easy to have something not copy over correctly.

id much rather do it from the passenger seat, than over the wire lol.

kaiso: its hard to really put a finger on what the weather will do.
I tuned matts car like 3 weeks ago and we had a beautiful day above zero.

If worst comes to worse. i have no problem tweaking a tune for you later down the road when it really warms up. (ill PM you about this...)

If we can find a mildly warm day in march we should be just fine.

No problem Steve. I am sure there will be a good day sometime in march. I will keep an eye on the long term forecast when it gets closer and we will try then. Plus if you show me what to do I am sure I can do it here myself also and plus you will be around to ask questions if I needed.

thanks
