jesus the 11th if a friday haha hmm we'd hafta leave at 7 (so i can get home, shower, change , refuel lol)

then 2-3 hr drive puts us there at 10 ...
guess thats not too shabby. if we want to head back at around 11 or 12 we'd be home around 2-3

or of course we could just stay there for a night. good to see i have some wingmen (err... wingwomen... wingpeople...?)

It seems to me that this is turning into the Track meet, so I'm assuming we are all meeting there then.

 

Is this pretty much decided that it will be starting in the west end near WEM, or could it be like South Edmonton Common (better for those Calgary people) before going to the track?

I think the best thing to do is just meet at the track, it's up to all of you guys though.

 

Some of us have no clue where we need to go! So meeting up beforehand at a location ahead of time with some locals would be a bonus.

 

Alright, lets all meet at Tim's on the strip In Leduc (Not the downtowm locale) at about 6:00pm, it's Five minutes away from the track.

 

i like that plan meeting at 6 now, if someone wants to help me put my car back together in about a week lol, will only take an hour or 2

 

actually since all you guys are coming down calgary trail from calgary why dont we meet in the parking lot of the big ikea they have enough space to sit and meet everyone!!!!

It not easy to miss its a giant blue building with giant yellow writing hahaha.

I think that would prob be the best to do let me know what ya'll think about that i will start an offcial thread!!!!

I just ordered springs for my car today and should be ready for the meet!! But ya as I said in the other post, count me in!! its payday friday and I can pull an early shift just so i can meet up with you all!! When we have more concrete plans on this meet give send me an email and I'll cruize with you to eddyton sorry that goes out to you folks comming from Calgary way past RD.. ok I'm going to check out more threads on this subject!! be good guys and gals

 

correction... gal... lol.. I haven't seen another woman post for this meet yet lol... I was wondering if my friend who drives an SRT4 could cruise up with us.... she'd be splitting a room with me so I'm not stuck with a bunch of guys I don't know lol!

though i wouldnt mind a mini meet on the 10th for the calgary folk so we know each others names so its not so awkward on the 11th "umm... ermm... hi?"

And for the Friday thing, yeah would be nice to meet a few of yas before Friday, perhaps even some of you that may not hit Edmonton! I would be looking at 8-9pm arrival in Cowtown.

I lived in Calgary for many years! Sundance, Midnapore and in the North as well so wherever is good for me! Chinook is fine by me, Ill just come in on Glenmore bang Im there!

 

I would like to come for one of these meets.......unfortunately I am going to be in BC on the 11th....but will be passing through edmonton on th night of the 7th on my way to BC......I don't think there are alot of Cobalt owners in McMurray that are on the SS network.....but I am interested if this sort of thing will happen again before winter.....
