hey guys i need to know of a good shop willing to take on a project and half, ive had issues with the company Cando auto and lube in my home town, and needless to say im tired of their BS and have pulled my car from their shop, was kinda mutual agreement as the Better Business Bureau was brought in.

well needless to say i have a very very sick cobalt and no time to do it myself, im looking for a shop in edmonton or even calgary that is willing to rebuild, balance and possibly install the motor for me

as i am out of town a lot it makes it difficult for me to do it myself, i will need it done for this spring, i am ordering parts out the wahoo today, and hopefully most will be here within a month, if not all. more than likely the shop will get a bare block with a bunch of labelled parts and new parts for them to put back together.

full port and polish head, new cams(was hoping on 272's but i want to be able to idle my car decent), new headgasket, redo the bottom end, install delete kit, fully time the motor, install new clutch and confirm transmission is okay, it is a complete overhaul, which yes will be the 2nd one this year for me woo hoo, thanks for an oil pump giving out on me and spinning all the bearings,

if u know of a shop that is willing to take on the task let me know by monday with a number/ an address/ and website(preffered but not needed),

the person who refers me will be given a good steak dinner when the car is running and i pick it up thanks guys ahead of time

why dont you try emailing all the shops within a certain radius of you and asking them that question?

 

ummm dont worry been there done that, the one shop who did agree to work on my car, i took it away from them, i dont trust anyone else in my area to do this job

lol well lets see, I have a new airride I ordered today, I bought my turbo goodies over a year ago with a custom built intake, I have my full engine build to add in, carbon fiber trunk, carbon fiber hood, new 19 inch rims, tires, slicks, umm there is probably more, oh yah meth and nitrous, hopefully a tranny upgrade soon lol, but some of it may never see the car, the car has to run and I still need to be able to pay a mortgage and truck payment, its nice to have a fully paid off car though

 

are you expecting like mid to high 6's in the 1/4???? holy mod shitman. thats gonna be fast one day. hows the process going? get any takers to build it for yah?

yes i work for the said company. i had no dealings with joe or the work taking place. i was just an insider helping out a good friend. My boss is a fool for doing what he has done and i will not stand up for him. joe has given him ample time to finish his car. but for 3 months that car sat with no work getting done.

btw joe who's is gonna be faster? yours or mine... lol

my boss is stuck in the days of the old where the V8's made the power. he has a 572 ram jet sitting in the crate still at our shop for his elcamino. he frown's apon me and my SS as does my journey men. i had to let my journeymen take my car for a rip just to prove my point. after he did he kept his mouth shut
